The McClatchy Co. reported today a 19.4 percent decline in November revenues compared with a year ago.
Sacramento-based McClatchy, which owns The Bee, said advertising sales fell 22.4 percent from November 2007. Big declines in print ads were partly offset

Hope a Bankruptcy is in their near future.
Take a look at a newspaper from 30 or 40 years ago and compair the content with that of today. It quickly becomes obvious why newspapers in general are in decline. Half of it is advertising and the rest is slanted editorials or ‘features’ designed to make news rather than report it.

Thanks— no wonder!
Like many papers the Sac.Bee use to be a good paper then the liberals took over and tried to shove their b.s. in every way into its content.
Like the Wash. Post , L.A. Times and N.Y. Times and so many other papers and now they push liberal causes like the homosexual agenda. They deserve to go bankrupt.
