Not quite true. That's a good way to get sued out of existence. 5.56 chambered rifles can shoot a .223, it's true. However a .223 chambered rifle is not designed to withstand that higher chamber pressures of a 5.56 and older or poorly designed .223 rifles could literally blow up in your face if you shoot a 5.56 through it.
