I did love Paris... the first time I was there was in 1975... went there with my first wife... what waste... but so was the marriage. One should not marry so young... but then wisdom comes later in life.

I did enjoy the museums and art. The fashion shows were spectacular and I remember their autobahns smelled of diesel. My first wife loved that smell... that should have been a sign! ;-) The food was wonderful but I like that kind of cooking. I was treated much better that time than I was later in life. I would love to go back some day... but the world would have to change before I would go into Europe again.

I remember London was overrun with muzzies even in '75. It was becoming Londonstan even back then. I think Stonehenge and the Imperial War Museum were my fondest memories. Germany was a hoot... drank wine and bowled with Germans in the Black Forest area... they did not speak English and I little German... but we did have a great time... loved the food in their guest houses. I remember they washed their windows and porches more than they bathed... they teased me for bathing every day. That was a great time in my life. Merry Christmas FRiend and GOD bless.
