Is Chris Kennedy, the son of the late, great U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, a possible entrant on the list to fill Presidentelect Barack Obama's Senate seat?

Blagovich's money-for-Senate-seat may not have worked out to his advantage, butwhoever gets that seat, money will change hands in one form or another. Count on it.

If there is a Kennedy available he/she will get the nod. The Dems LOVE Kennedys. Doesn't matter if they live in the right place or have any intellectual capacity at all. If the candidate has any familial connection to the Kennedy Clan, they are in like Flynn.

The Kennedys have a long association with Chicago political corruption. The biggest part of the Kennedy family fortune is in the Merchandise Mart, where old Joe stashed his bootlegging dough.

Do you remember if this is the same Kennedy who was put up for a House seat a few years ago, only to be hastily yanked when it became obvious that he was an embarrassing fool on a podium? Or is this another one?
