QUEENSBURY A local mans challenge of President-elect Barack Obamas citizenship has been garnering national attention, if not credibility.
Robert Schulz of Queensbury is the founder and chairman of We The People, a group dedicated to upholding strict adherence to the state and U.S. constitutions.
He says theres compelling evidence that Obama was born in Kenya, not on U.S. soil, which he contends would make him ineligible to become president. On Thursday, Schulz mailed letters to all members of the Electoral College, asking them to delay the Dec. 15 official balloting until the citizenship questions are cleared up.
"We really like this guy," he said of Obama, "but we like the Constitution a bit more. For someone whos dedicated the past 30 years trying to uphold the Constitution, how could I let this go by and maintain any kind of credibility? Its up to Mr. Obama to set the facts straight and he refuses to do so."
Facts seem to line up against Schulzs argument. Hawaii Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino and the states registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, have said they checked health department records and determined there is no doubt Obama was born in Hawaii.
In addition, the nonpartisan Web site www.factcheck.org examined the original document and said it does have a raised seal and the usual evidence of a genuine document. The site also reproduced an announcement of Obamas birth, including his parents address in Honolulu, that was published in the "Honolulu Advertiser" on Aug. 13, 1961.
None of that fazes Schulz, who placed two full-page ads in The Chicago Tribune and on Monday held a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

If they BHO gets in as POTUS and he is not a Citizen of the US then they can make room for Arnold from Cali.
I am thoroughly convinced that Obama was adopted by Soetoro, since both he and his sister were referenced in the 1980 divorce filing. Obama lost his citizenship in the adoption process. Not as a result of American law, but Indonesian law. He could have applied for reinstatement of his US citizenship, for a period of 6 months after his eighteenth birthday. If he did, that document exists. If he didn't, he is still and Indonesian citizen and no document exists.
When Obama first went to Indonesia, he HAD to attended the Franciskus school because he was still a foreign national. He later attended Besuki Primary, a state school that was only available to citizens.
The documentation you have provided is terrific. As soon as I believe I can document my suspicions, I will publish to The Obama File - Latest News. I'll shoot you a FReepMail.
There were more links on early threads but I couldn’t find them. There are so many.
Don’t know why you addressed this to me.
I know. I understand. I agree.
Zero might have insight to the SCOTUS... Chicago activist Jim Ginsburg, son of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an old friend of That One.
I always thought Ruth was a woman..!!
Too bad that the SC has no right to check a president elects qualifications. That power is reserved to Congress, the body that counts the electoral votes and stamps the winner as eligible.
I watched the 2hr 37min press conference with Shultz and speakers. Was worth the time spent. Quite informative.

There is no such requirement. If he was born a citizen, he remains one until he renounces his citizenship or is convicted of treason.
Indonesia doesn't permit dual citizenship.
Indonesian law does not determine U.S. citizenship.
In the end, I will find the answer, while you will just continue to believe you have all the answers.
I will accept the answer as it is, while you will keep looking until you find the answer you want.
Cort and Leo will probably discover more than a bluff is needed.

Sad.
Thanks for the great links to Ginsberg.
Indonesia has never had the power to grant or deny U.S. citizenship.
Pakistan was on the banned travel list for US Citizens at the time and all non-Muslim visitors were not welcome unless sponsored by their embassy for official business.

Yes, it's always tragic when someone loses the childhood belief that wishing on a star will make it so, and abandons a lovely theory in favor of humdrum facts.
You have a lot to say, but you never, ever provide any documentation to back yourself up.
What I got, I got. I didn't make it up. I found it myself or received it via others.
If I'm wrong, I would be delighted to be corrected, but not by someone who is simply spouting opinion.
Produce your documentation. If I'm wrong and your documentation corrects that, I'll be the first to thank you, but to just say “you're wrong” won't fly.
Clearly state what I've got wrong sand correct it with factual documentation. I really do want to get it right.
