ABC This Week (George Stephanopoulos)

TOPICS: Extended News; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections

No big surprises. Distancing Obama from Blagojevich is job one. Blaming the southern Republicans for the collapse of the Big 3 bailout is the other part of the agenda this week.

Shazam! The new new journalism is now comfortable in its role as the propaganda arm of The One's white House operation and has completely left biking the old new journalisms archaic notions of ethics, fairness or honesty. They're so liberated now! It's the triumph of His will.

Well, of course not! Then they'd be asked... inconvenient... questions.

“No one from the Obama transition team on the docket. Hmmm...”

Oh, there will be PLENTY from the 0blahma transition team on the docket—dockets. Give it a couple more days and then pick a court, any court. ;)

A post on Glenn Reynolds Instapundit blog:

EMBARRASSING: AG Lisa Madigan’s argument to the Illinois Supreme Court about ousting Governor Blagojevich. Illinois state government is looking like one big clown show.

The link is to a post on Ann Althouses blog covering a press conference by Madigan.

Madigan has the nerve to show her face? I wish I could question her.

I have some emailing to do tonight... and documents to send.

They need to find out who might be indicted and make sure that person never sees the light of day again as a representative of Barack Obama; the truth is difficult to manufacture in the dark after all. Besides, it's more convenient to let the MSM carry the water for a few weeks, to see if this can all be made to go away.

Great job as usual, looks like all the wrong people are running the country now. It’s sort of a race to see just how much they can screw up the country in four years.

Truth is the dem/rats are the same gutless cowards they were before they were in power.

Unless they can drag enough of us along to claim we wanted it as well and it was our fault too when it hits the fan they won't stand alone for anything.

They don't have the guts to stand up for any of their crazy and reckless bills which are all designed with one thing in mind---advancing socialism.

Rhambo in hiding, and then blaming it on the DBM is simply hilarious!

Problem is these guys have the Pinocchio syndrome so bad that they need a bank of computers to tell them just how many lies they have to cover up in order to even talk about Blago. Problem there is that they have destroyed so many pages of their lies on-line that they may no be able to find everything!!

It just gets harder and harder the deeper and deeper they dive into the world of lying Marxism.

VERY interesting vote. Go Montana!

Do we know why the seven Dems (minus Dingy Harry, of course) either voted nay or nothing?
