My hunch would be that, knowing of the arrest of Blago, meetings with his staff or lawyer took precedent over the security briefings. I don’t think the FBI briefings that day pertained to the Blago arrest.

Question is, when did he know it? The Hill Blog reports he canceled that morning, so did he only find out the timing of the bust just as the rest of us did?
