The Bambu rolling-paper company is smoking mad at a Barack Obama-loving artist for using its iconic packaging on T-shirts that show the president-elect smoking a joint.
Seamus McGovern and his "Love Fatigues" Web business were hit with a trademark-infringement suit for putting Obama's name and face on the beige and white cover of "the world's finest rolling papers."
The Manhattan federal court case claims the $22 "Obambu" shirts expose Bambu to "criticism and scorn" because they show Obama smoking weed, and could "confuse the consuming public" into believing they came from the company.

"confuse the consuming public"I think much of the Bambu consuming public is already confused enough on their own. No damages - no award.

Seeing the $22 shirts noted above reminds me of Love22, perennial candidate for President who was indicted by the Federal government for his $22 bills.

The Manhattan federal court case claims the $22 "Obambu" shirts expose Bambu to "criticism and scorn" because they show Obama smoking weed, and could "confuse the consuming public" into believing they came from the company. All you can push for is the trademark infraction. Barack Hussein Obama would have to make the case of libel and based on the Hustler suit with Jerry Fallwell, he would not stand much of a chance.
Barack Hussein Obama is an admitted dope smoker and he lied about quitting tobacco. There is no "undue" criticism and scorn in depicting Barack Hussein Obama, President-Elect (TM) as a dope smoker.
Truth hurts and this loser corporation should have to pay all of the legal expenses of both teams.

“Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it.”
Nothing confusing about this Obama confession. The American people elected a drug using President.
