Miramar principal says students suspended after three of their peers said inappropriate behavior began at Glades in September
At least three students at Glades Middle School complained about "inappropriate sexual conduct" by fellow students in a class there, a Miramar police spokeswoman said.
The three students, all 12-year-old girls, told police that two boys, ages 13 and 14, and a 13-year-old girl began committing the acts in September and stopped when one of the victims reported the incidents Thursday, said police spokeswoman Detective Yessenia Diaz.
The first girl came forward Dec. 4, after her parents insisted she tell them why her grades were slipping, Diaz said.
More students may have been victimized, said Diaz, who urged parents and students to alert school officials and law enforcement.
Police and school district officials did not describe the inappropriate conduct.
Parents learned of the allegations Tuesday when Principal Krista R. Herrera told them in a letter that the school had suspended Glades Middle School students. The students could be expelled.
As part of the investigation, the school district also temporarily reassigned two teachers. Their names were not released.
The alleged inappropriate conduct was brought to the principal's attention by an anonymous letter, said Joe Melita, executive director of the school district's special investigations unit. It occurred while the students were in class, he said.

Yes, I can understand why you would want to keep your children out of government schools. Sexual behavior between students, sexual behavior between students and teachers, it’s almost like Bill Clinton is in charge of educating young minds.

For years now, tv, movies, the internet--what have you--have ben sexualizing our kids. Parents need to control what their kids are are being exposed to.
A trip to just about any mall finds younger and younger little girls dressed up like little tarts running in groups with no parental supervision, calling attention to themselves by being loud, potty-mouthed little Madonnas. It really is disgusting and sad.

You know who will soon outlaw homeschooling for the glory of national socialism.
Pretty soon all children (even elementary age) will be given special lessons on how to fully utilize the “freedom of youthful sexuality”. It’s already starting in Europe.

Can’t tell who is the “victim.” Is it the person having sex or the people who know the other people are having sex. This article needs an editor.

"Cant tell who is the victim. "
They are all victims, even the perpetrators here are victims.
Sadly, those young boys learned sexualy agressive behavior from someone.

One year a guy was showing a movie, room is dark no one is paying attention, teaching is about passed out and a girl gives some “lucky” kid a hummer.
Teacher was not disciplined.

Not all public schools are bad. Furthermore I question the social development of home schooled children. And I know about the combined field trips with other home schooled children and I too am a Christian. Some day your child is going to have to go out into the world and you will not be there to shelter them.

From the Book 'Conversations with God for Teens', written by Neale D. Walsh
You mean, you really do not judge? You forgive everyone, no matter what the sin? - Lily, Miami, Florida
I do not forgive anyone. That is the first thing you must understand about me. I will not forgive you, ever, for anything that you do. Once you are clear about this, you will have a new understanding of God, and you will be able to interact with me in a whole different way. I do not forgive anyone because there is nothing to forgive.
Why does God permit evil in the world?
When I created life as you know it, I did so by simply separating myself into countless smaller parts of me. This is another way of saying that you were made in the image and likeness of God. Now because God is The Creator, that means that all of you are creators, too. Obedience is not creation. It is an act of subservience, not an act of power. God is not subservient to anyone, and since you are a part of God, you are, by nature, not subservient to anyone, either. Teenagers know this more than anyone. (pp. 12-13)
You think you have been born in Original Sin, and you believe this. I tell you now that you have been born in Original Power(p. 37). This power is not just what you have, it is what you ARE. You have, and are, the power to create.(p. 38)
Life is not a process of discovery. It is a process of creation. You are not learning Who You Are, you are recreating Who You Are, by remembering all that you have always known, and choosing what you now wish to experience of your Self. (p.42)
Why do my parents freak out about sex? My God, they freak out. -- Susan, 14, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Mostly, your parents freak out about sex because their parents freaked out about sex. And, their parents freaked out about sex because their parents freaked out about sex. Its been going on this way now for hundreds of years. Not everywhere. Not in all places, nor in all cultures. There are cultures on your planet in which sex is not seen as anything shameful or embarrassing or as something to be concealed and not talked about and to be done in hiding. Yet in the largest number of places it is seen as exactly that.
Most humans are even ashamed of their own bodies. Or they are simply scared of them. And so they make absolutely certain that they are covered up, and then they actually pass laws requiring them to be. And why? Because most humans are afraid of what will happen if they see each other naked. (pp. 92-93)
Why am I a lesbian? -- Jenny, 16, Miami.
You are a lesbian, Jenny, for the same reason that you are right-handed or left-handed, have brown eyes, or own any other personal characteristic that makes you you. Human genetics produces all of your individual physical characteristics, long before you are born. This is very natural, you are very natural, and the way you are is perfect for you. I love you the way you are, because the way you are is perfect for you. And that means it is perfect for me. (pp. 100-101)
How soon is too soon? I've read in some societies people do it when they are 12!
There is no prescribed time for sexual initiation and sexual activity. It is different from culture to culture and from person to person. (p. 105)
You know that you are already having sex every day. Sexual energy is exchanged between people from the moment they meet. Masters are those who have come to a deep awareness of all this, and it is in and from this essential essence that they live and move and have their Being. When you experience S-E-X with a Master, you know it. (pp. 108, 110)
There are no bad people and no bad things, only people and things that you have called bad.(p. 117)
That's the same thing.
To you it is. To me, it isn't.
Now what does that mean?
It means that we have different values. It means we have different understandings. It means that you have made judgments, and I don't make judgments.
I am living with my boyfriend. My parents say that I should marry him because I am living in sin. Should I marry him?
Who are you sinning against? Not me because you have done nothing wrong.

"Some day your child is going to have to go out into the world and you will not be there to shelter them."
My job is to prepare her for life, and I do that by sheltering her while she is very young and learning right from wrong, to let her mind develop emotionaly and intellectualy, and to not let her be exposed to things she is not yet mature enough to understand.
When she leaves our home, she will be more ready than most public school kids to deal with life.
Her foundation will be solid rock so that she is not tossed about to and fro - she will know what she believes and why she believes it - if she chooses unwisely, that will be on her, I will have done all God has asked of me.

Hmmm, it would not bother you to find out your 12-year old daughter is having sexual contact?
Are you sure you're not a Democrat??

Hmmm, it would not bother you to find out your 12-year old daughter is having sexual contact? It really depends on what she was doing. I know what I was like at that age, with some of my (same age) female neighbors. I wouldn't be thrilled at that type of behavior in a 12 year-old, but I know it's not the end of the world as we know it.
Are you sure you're not a Democrat??
Pretty sure. I may have voted for Obama, much like my dead grandfathers, but it wasn't voluntary.

Sheltering very young children is a good thing since young children should be naive of the evils in the world and free to be children. At some point as the child grows older they are going to need to be made aware of the evil so they can cope with it later in life. Additionally they are going to need to learn how to interact with those who do not share their religious beliefs and moral convictions.
Please do not get me wrong, I am the 32 year old son of a rather strict Baptist minister and attended a public elementary school, private Christian middle school and public high school. I have experienced this from both sides of the fence.
My life experience tells me that those who have been heavily sheltered and who have not had regular social interaction with those outside of their small Christian circle do not excel as well in life as others. Many of the adults I know who were heavily sheltered as children are socially inept, some to the point of being introverts and many of them are just getting by rather than excelling at their profession. Few of them achieved post-secondary education.
Having an accurate moral compass is essential however taking occasional field trips into the jungle is just as critical.
