Yes, the electoral college votes on Dec. 15. Obama’s electors are all party loyalists...no way they’d vote for McCain, but if Obama was hopelessly tarnished they could vote for Hillary. I don’t think there’s time enough for information to come out that would damage Obama sufficiently for that to happen, not with the media harping on how he’s not touched by the scandal.
And on December 12,2000, the SCOTUS put a stay on the election process in Bush v Gore! Wouldn’t it be nice if they do it again today to resolve the Constitutional qualifications of Barack Obama??
