What was the bad guy using, a bb gun? If I have to shoot a dog more than once I figure I’m wasting ammo.

What was the bad guy using, a bb gun? If I have to shoot a dog more than once I figure I’m wasting ammo. Probably was just holding his gun "sideways", like the gangstas on TV.
