On the eve of a key State Canvassing Board meeting on the U.S. Senate race, Democrat Al Franken presented affidavits today from 62 Minnesotans who said their absentee ballots were improperly rejected.
With Franken behind in the official Senate recount, the affidavits were the latest attempt by the campaign to increase the pressure on the board to count absentee ballots that were improperly rejected. The affidavits followed the release of a web video Wednesday by the campaign that portrayed the stories of seven Minnesotans whose ballots were improperly rejected. A campaign spokesman said the video had been viewed more than 13,000 times on YouTube in less than 24 hours.
The five-member board is expected to address the issue Friday and the Franken campaign.

... and how did these 62 KNOW their ballots were rejected?
... all 62 were Franken votes? ... very curious!!
... OK, Coleman! Go find YOUR voters whose ballots were rejected!
The guy even brags that he steals elections for the Democrats. His technique is simple: get the election close enough for a recount, and keep recounting and recounting over and over until the Democrat is ahead - then STOP counting and declare victory.
“Did he call in gay yesterday?”

No, but he called in punk for life.

Does an absentee ballot (the ballot itself) have a name and address on it?
When the ballot is accepted for counting, the envelope is opened and discarded and the ballot is put into a ballot box with other absentee ballots for counting. Once in the ballot box, there is no identifying information on the ballot. If the ballot is rejected for any reason, the sealed envelope with the ballot still inside is kept. This is in case somebody challenges the decision to reject the ballot.
When challenging such ballots, it's theoretically impossible to know who the person voted for (unless the voter feels like telling what his vote was). If I was an absentee voter who's ballot was rejected, and Franken called me, I'd never tell him that my vote was really for Coleman. If he (or his campaign staff) asked, I'd tell them it was a secret ballot. If he wanted to fight to have the ballot counted, he could do that.
It will be very suspicious if any of these ballots are counted and they all go to Franken. Theoretically, they should be a mix.
This jerk gets his motivation and tactical training from the DNC, they’re all detestable pond scum...from a waste water treatment facility.

NONE of that would fly if the spineless Republicans weren’t hiding their balls in an earthenware pot, down in the root cellar.
Shades of Robert Wexler and his “confused” voters in 2000.
Franken is such a mewling a**weasel.
Hey Al,I just foung a bag o’ ballots under my family room couch,if you want ‘em let me know....
Why hasn’t he claimed victory already? The only way Franken wins is if the courts give it to him. And this would turn Minnesoata into a ruby red state. The folks in Minnesota, as liberal as they are, seem to have a sense of fair play. They didn’t take too kindly to the Wellstone funeral, and they won’t take kindly to Franken stealing the seat.
No, he has an irrevocable, lifetime, ‘call in gay’ do not pass go/do not collect $200 card.
Frankenweenie wants to be the worst loser ever.
Frankenweenie wants to be the worst loser ever.
The elections people just keep feeding his endless tantrum. Next election cycle, he’ll still be counting ballots and whining on to whomever will listen... At least he’s got that to keep him busy.
Yeah...that works real well for so many of the military absentee votes that seem to get mishandled and not counted in EVERY election... including this one. Those sorry Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines need to get their act together and show up on election day and cast their votes if they want them to count. To hell with their duty... Their voice is only important if they care enough to show up at the polls...
Not necessarily. He may have hand-selected the 62 matched against Dem voter registrations lists and at least have a good idea who they voted for.
