Well this is the first I’ve heard of this.
Interesting that as the communists take over our country we havw this happening at the same time.
My guess is we can kiss our freedom’s goodbye. The left will re-write our Constitution.
Good-bye 2nd amendment, good-bye 1st amendment.
The new one world government is lining up faster than even I thought it would.
And to think George W. Bush republican socialist helped with this final push. Must have to payback his communist masters with his boot licking ending.
In that case and if that happens, it’s time to unhitch Texas from the Federal wagon and go our own way.
Our rights are given by our Creator. Since I was not created by the government, they have no say. The Constitution was written with that understanding in mind and the Bill of Rights define the limits of government with respect to those rights.
They can change the Constitution, it still does not remove those rights.
Rights cannot be taken, they must be given away. Unfortunately, we, as a country, have been giving them away at break-neck speed.
Of course none of this HAS to succeed. The 47% of us who did not vote for the Marxist Onada do not have to just roll over and allow this coup—that is what is happening folks—to succeed. Despite all the things you may have signed in your life denouncing revolution as a means of redressing political imbalances, revolution is not unconstitutional.
I would like to know to what extent voter fraud was responsible for The Messiah’s “election”. Even from the little bit the MSM reported on the subject we know that fraud was rampant. Heck, the dems are still trying to cheat their way to upsetting the Coleman election.
And do we hear anything about this from Sen. Bipartisan McCain or any Pubbies—allegedly real conservatives let alone the RINOs. We hear nothing.
Forgive my off topic ping but I think people on your ping lists may have some interest in this topic.
If not, sorry.
This is the first I heard of this too.
You said — “Interesting that as the communists take over our country we havw this happening at the same time.”
The request for a Constitutional Convention is the second method by which the Constitution has for proposing amendments. It was put in there in case the Congress would not act to propose an amendment. This is the second way it is done.
Now, any amendment is still required to be ratified by 3/4 of the states.
And besides that, this particular call for the Balanced Budget Amendment (since Congress has not put it forth) is being done by the “second method” for proposing amendments to the Constitution. And, as I said (and as the Constitution says), it still requires 3/4 of the states to approve for ratification.
Quite a coinky-dink.
