Cancer is increasing yearly, to the point where a report said it would be the leading cause of death by 2010. How much of the increase in cancer as a cause of death is because of reducing other causes of death? What used to be a fatal heart attack is now caught early and treated with a bypass or even just a good artery reaming. That means more people live long enough to get cancer.

Maybe... I am in remission from multiple myeloma, and I'm 55 so these numbers are scary to me at least. It did cause me to adopt a vegetarian diet, but still.
