A federal grand jury indicted a state assemblyman on Wednesday, charging that he effectively put his legislative office up for sale by demanding cash payments for delivering state business.

A criminal complaint filed in September alleged a bold fraud scheme in which the assemblyman, Anthony S. Seminerio, incorporated his own consulting firm to conceal the illegal payments. "Mr. Seminerio declared his innocence. “I’m bewildered by everything,” he said. “I’m not a crook.”"

Gee whiz, where have we heard that before ?

Yeah, I thought he was a member of the Vegetarian Party. Sorry.

At least the AP puts the party identification in the middle or near the end of the story, sometimes, ocassionally, once in a while, whatever.

Common, you know party affiliation is only pertinent if it’s a Republican. Then it will be boldly mentioned throughout the article.

And they’re blind to their own bias. Sheesh!

Name that Party!

In my mind, this is what happens when everyone of our politicians was a rich lawyer before entering their posts.

Maybe we should start electing farmers, business owners, teachers, etc...

"They forgot to mention that he's a Democrat. Imagine that! "

Isn't it amazing how each of the writers/journalists, (no matter where in the country they are), know what to leave out without anyone telling them to do so.
