When it comes to sex, tech and teens don't make the best bedfellows. As tech-savvy teens become increasingly fluent with new technology, from social networking sites to tricked-out new cell phones, research finds the negative consequences stacking up.
According to the results of a survey released today by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and CosmoGirl.com, 22 percent of all teen girls and 11 percent of teen girls ages 13-16 years old say they have electronically sent, or posted online, nude or semi-nude images of themselves.
And these racy images are also getting passed around: One-third (33 percent) of teen boys and one-quarter (25 percent) of teen girls say they have had nude/semi-nude images originally meant to be private shared with them.

You said — “That said, I will never let a hard drive leave my possession again.”
Ummmm..., do you have an oxyacetylene torch? That should work... LOL..

It is amazing what they can recover even from a warped drive.
I think you misunderstand. A bearing heater is a tool used in machine shops to heat bearings. It doesn't work by burning gas or with an electrical heating element. Heat is generated when the atoms in a metal are moving a lot. A bearing heater causes the atoms in a bearing to move quickly (thus heating the bearing) by exposing it to an *extremely* powerful oscillating electromagnetic field.
This oscillating magnetic field would scramble the disk platters faster than you could say s**t. Exposing the disk for several minutes would make data recovery hopeless.

Many of todays teens view sexual activity as being with on par with getting a hamburger and fries.
Tenns generally only do one half of a cost/benefit analysis.

P.S. If the pic also shows her, uh, interacting with Bill, Ill double the offer. If "interacting" includes lamp throwing, start writing the check.
