When it comes to sex, tech and teens don't make the best bedfellows. As tech-savvy teens become increasingly fluent with new technology, from social networking sites to tricked-out new cell phones, research finds the negative consequences stacking up.
According to the results of a survey released today by the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and CosmoGirl.com, 22 percent of all teen girls — and 11 percent of teen girls ages 13-16 years old — say they have electronically sent, or posted online, nude or semi-nude images of themselves.
And these racy images are also getting passed around: One-third (33 percent) of teen boys and one-quarter (25 percent) of teen girls say they have had nude/semi-nude images — originally meant to be private — shared with them.

That’s so true and a lot of people just don’t realize the huge gap (in this viewpoint of theirs) in comparison with the older generation. They thought the 60s and 70s was wild and crazy and free love and so on...
Well, that was nothing (in the past) in comparison to how it is now..., unfortunately.
I can’t even repeat the stories and the first-hand information that I know about what goes on from workers, friends, acquaintances and relatives and their families (in regards to the younger kids). What I know and have seen would curl your hair... LOL...

I graduated from college two years ago, was in a fraternity, partied a lot, and I never saw anything like this happen. In fact, in (public) college, being a man or lady-whore made you the target for rumors, ridicule, and cheap jokes. It’s not really cool to sleep with lots of people these days even if you like to party. I think a lot of these kids aren’t college-bound, and their parents raised them like crap. They’re trashy kids, probably taking after their trashy parents.

That’s right, there sure is, and the guys are taking full advantage of it, as it puts any girl at a disadvantage (in their peer group) if they don’t go along with the “standards” that are going around in their group. And, of course, it goes way beyond exhibitionism to ..., well, more... We’ve had other threads on this issue in the past, about where this culture is going with the young kids.
The guys are having a field day, as a result, but at the same time, the girls don’t seem to care about it, either...

My friend has a 19 year old son in his second year in college. He has had a serious girlfriend for the last year, and she has become close with his whole family. A couple weeks ago, my friend got a text message which was obviously supposed to go to his son. It was a nude photo of his son’s girlfriend. Now he doesn’t know whether he should mention it, or pretend like it never happened.
I cannot imagine how embarrassed she is/was. Of course all of us at the station had to take a look at the photo, to give him some good advice on what to do:)
Nudies of Helen Thomas, Janet Reno, Rosie O’Donnell, et. al., would definitely be some hot stuff, but I will pay top dollar for any pics of Hillary in her Dominatrix outfit. Anyone?

Anyway, public nudity wouldn’t be a problem if the people in our society weren’t so hyper-sexualized, lustful, and devoid of self-control. There are communities in the world where people don’t see anything overtly sexual about nudity and contemplate about sex considerably less than the average American. Sadly, that will never be America. America the perverted.
