>>well then if the limit is 60 and i am doing 70 and someone wants to pass me then they are also breaking said laws...so give us both a ticket...me for speeding at 70 and blocking the lane and the follower for speeding and following to close....in general people need to slow down and stop being idiots....<<

You lost me there somewhere. I mean, I agree that we “could” both get tickets, but since you are the one in front, and blocking me, you are the one that will get a ticket for speeding aproximately 90% of the time.

No cop has ever successfully pulled me over while he was also trying to pull over someone else.

well lets hope there are two of them then....lol....

heres one for you....i didn’t make a right on red fast enough for the car behind me..(cars were approching from the left in the right hand lane) so he began blowing his horn at me and then when i made the turn he tried to run me off the road....got description of his car and tag number...called the fhp and county sheriffs office...was told by both that there was nothing they could do since they didn’t see it happen and the owner of the car may not have been the one driving....hmmmm...my response to both was ok then maybe next time he’ll kill someone and then we’ll get him....

You said — “No cop has ever successfully pulled me over while he was also trying to pull over someone else.”

Ohhh..., I’ve seen it done... It’s quite a maneuver. A trooper came up on a line of cars (about five) that were speeding together (you know how that goes... LOL...).

He went up to them, one at a time, with his lights and siren on, and when they pulled one lane over, he very aggressively motioned them to go over to the side of the road and then rushed up to the next car, did the same — and so on, until he got all five cars over to the side.

That was a surprising maneuver, to be sure. I’ve only seen it done once in my lifetime... LOL...

Another successful technique for the troopers to pull over a lot of people at once is one of these “large operations” that they get going on the freeways. One time in Washington State, on I-5 North, a bit past Vancouver, WA, there was one trooper with radar on his rig, and he was getting everyone’s speed. (there might have been two, spaced out, but I didn’t see...).

Up over the next rise, there were about 15 troopers (cars), over to the side of the road — some parked and waiting, some “rolling out” with lights on, and others down the road a ways, having pulled over some people.

They were radioing ahead for the cars that were speeding and pulling over every last one of them. They were nailing them left and right. I’ve never seen such a massive pulling over like they were doing... LOL..

Then there was another time I was in Arkansas, somewhere past Little Rock, on the way to Memphis (I-40) and I saw a trooper on an overpass (on foot) and he had a laser gun. You have to be closer with those than a radar unit and he was “popping up” over the concrete edge on the overpass, and shooting the traffic, then popping back down again... LOL.. Down the road a bit were the trooper cars, a bunch of them waiting to pick up whomever he tagged...
