You said — “No cop has ever successfully pulled me over while he was also trying to pull over someone else.”

Ohhh..., I’ve seen it done... It’s quite a maneuver. A trooper came up on a line of cars (about five) that were speeding together (you know how that goes... LOL...).

He went up to them, one at a time, with his lights and siren on, and when they pulled one lane over, he very aggressively motioned them to go over to the side of the road and then rushed up to the next car, did the same — and so on, until he got all five cars over to the side.

That was a surprising maneuver, to be sure. I’ve only seen it done once in my lifetime... LOL...

Oh..., one more thing about this, that I forgot...

You were saying — “No cop has ever successfully pulled me over while he was also trying to pull over someone else.”

I’ve been personally involved in a “two-car pullover” by a trooper. I was behind another guy and we both were barreling down the freeway. There wasn’t any traffic and it was in the middle of the country (maybe out there somewhere in Utah or Montana (can’t remember now...).

But, anyway..., I was the second car and the trooper comes “out of nowhere” and roars up behind me and pulls me over — he came to a stop with me, but still out on the road and told me, “You stay there and I’ll be right back!”

He roared off like a “bat out of hell” and went to chase down the other guy. Well, I waited and waited and he didn’t come back. I waited for about 20 minutes and then I finally figured that he wasn’t coming back and I just drove off... LOL...

I never heard anything else from it... :-)

Yes, it is hard to avoid. The last time it happened to me (about 12 years ago) I played dumb. My goal is to get as much distance as possible between me and the other “target car(s)” and then play dumb. I then skedadle and get “lost” as fast as possible. If I am the first to be pulled over and he waves others over while outside his car, I don’t have a chance, and if I am the last to be pulled over after he has already successfully gotten the others, I also don’t have a chance.

But the idea is that if my method still gets me pulled over, I am the ONLY one pulled over. The one time it happened to me, he lost me.

I’ve only successfully outrun cops twice in my life and that time it was accidental...
