We’ll see......but I STILL say that eventually we WILL rise again and WILL defeat the Gators in their own swamp! ;-P
They built. I bought.
Buying a little Ford stock right now might be a good idea. Look for a surprise surge in Ford sales this month.
And the distinction would be?
;-)
You can't be that clueless. - The problem is not a lack of desire for the cars, it is a total shutdown of high risk credit. (auto finance has always been considered the highest risk level) Toyota and Honda are also hemhorraging, but they are being propped up. Only a fool would put their family in one of their death traps. This is all driven by Defeat America politics from the left.
Just checking in from the great state of Georgia....
To the instigators of the original web ad.....
We have a bunch of good folks down here building perfectly good cars - and more to come.
Now ya’ll semi-skilled, over paid, spoiled, non-rednecks
BEWARE
Our folks will WORK for a decent wage and they won’t go on strike or protest when an engineer walks in the room with a swiss army knife on his belt.
Ya’ll made fun of us cause ya think we drive trucks, use tobacco freely, carry guns and go to church.
Well...
You’re right. We do and will. Get used to it and steer your silly little eco friendly POS wheels around my area.
And when you can tell me what you do that’s worth $75/hr,
then we can talk. Till then, take your pissant unions and cram it.
Anyone know who's paying for the website? There's no info on that at the site. Go figger.
Instead of boycotting all things Alabama, maybe some of these bright lights from Michigan could help them “understand.”
That’s been a common theme in Alabama for years anyway, “We wish we could be more like Michigan.”
Otherwise, just turn left or right when you get to Nashville.
Yep! - It's the same as the Muzzies that leave their Islamic cesspool to come here and make another one.
We need a law that says when you move, you can't talk or vote for 20 years.
Wow, straight off with the insults, sad but typical. Remember, when you NEED to us insults all you really proves is you know the facts don’t support your case.
The Big 3 sales haven’t been good for a long time. GM didn’t get themselves in a position to possibly shutdown this month because the financial market went crazy in September. It takes years of not selling enough cars to turn a profit for that. Everybody’s sales are down, but the Big 3 sales weren’t doing well long before this crunch. Toyota and Honda build safer vehicles than the Big 3. So far you’re 0-fer, all insults, no facts, and reality is still the same: the Big 3 do NOT make cars people want to buy, as demonstrated by the fact that they don’t sell enough to be profitable. If they were actually making cars people want to buy they wouldn’t be in Washington begging for our money, they’d already be getting it through sales.
Alabama to Michigan . . . Eat Dirt.
Hmm...thanks to Sen. Shelby, I guess I’ll have to add Alabama to my list of states I want to support with my tourist dollars. Others include Utah, Tennessee, Wyoming. Colorado is in danger of losing me due to going too blue.
Use a little more analysis please. It's the govt telling manufacturers what they can build that is hampering the automakers. People want their products; when Toyota, Honda, or Nissan need a truck that people will buy, they go to GM and Ford to have them built with the tin-can name plate on them. You can't see that?????
Go the the car shows. Chevy is an award winner. So is Cadilac.
They're going to boycott Alabama because they are taking jobs away from Michigan, uh, but not Texas where GM has an assembly plant.
They're going to boycott Alabam because they are assembling parts from foreign companies...but not going to boycott the big 3 who assemble cars in Canada and Mexico.
Very confused.
Now, if we could only get the illegals to boycott Texas....
I did just that four weeks ago, and it's up about 35% since then. It went down to about a buck fifty, and is now over $3.25. It'll probably go higher on this announcement.
Big wheels keep on turning,
Carry me home to see my kin
singin’ songs about the Southland.
I miss ol’ Bammy once again and I think it’s a sin. Yes.
Well, I heard Mister Young sing about her.
Well, I heard ol’ Neil put her down.
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A southern man don’t need him around anyhow.
Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.
In Birmingham they love the Gov’nor. Oooh hoo hoo.
Now we all did what we could do.
Now Watergate does not bother me.
Does your conscience bother you, tell the truth.
Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.
Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they’ve been known to pick a song or two.
Lord, they get me off so much,
They pick me up when I’m feeling blue, now how about you.
Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.
Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I’m coming home to you.

I live in Baldwin County Alabama near Mobile bay and the Gulf Beaches. I can tell you now, this ain’t working. A lot of Michigan snowbirds here.
Where’s the government telling them what they can build? If they take this bailout that will happen but up until now they’ve been building whatever they want, and it hasn’t been what the people want to buy.
