Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich sold his administration. You could buy practically anything - including Obama's vacant seat. FBI Agent Robert Grant: "Illinois might not be the most corrupt state in the union, but it's a helluva competitor." Blagojevich's corruption defies belief - an alleged attempt to extort personal favors from Obama's folks in exchange for choosing their replacement. Trying to force the Tribune Co. to fire editorial writers by threatening to withhold millions in state aid in a deal to sell Wrigley Field. Soliciting a $50,000 campaign contribution in exchange for $8 million in state funds for a children's hospital. .....has all but destroyed the public's faith in government service, a central pillar of our political system. Fitzgerald may have more news down the pike...."tracking various schemes" to see how far the corruption went.....there's Blagojevich's fund-raiser and "fixer" Tony Rezko, who struck a questionable real-estate deal with Obama that he has called a "boneheaded mistake." Americans are left to wonder about the audicity of their elected leaders and public servants.

He enhanced his resume. Probably looking for the DNC chairmanship position.
Please explain to me why we know exactly the words used by the Governor to request bribes in an FBI wiretap and the full details of the scandal in 1 day, when we cannot view the original Birth Certificate of BO.
one was just elected
Yup, we can say the same about Barry Hussein as well.
Imagine that...
Yes, and we are told to believe that somehow, Barry Hussein Obama, who has swam in this swamp for years, with the same characters including Rezko, has escaped with no stench of corruption on him.
Riiiiiight.
Just like Clintons, dirty people surrounds them....first the preacher, now the Gov of his state, and he knows NOTHING about it???? He sat in church for 20 some years and listened to this crap, and yet he ‘didn't know about this man’ ????? and he has NOT SPOKEN to the Gov???? huh????? are we mushrooms or what????
Yep, when President Bush and his ways are out of office, we are back to the clinton ways of life, barroom deals, dirty money, dirty moral people running things....
Give me someone like President Bush any day of the week, at least we can hold our heads up with pride when he and his lady walk off the plane in a foreign county without wondering what back barroom deal has just been made....
The only thing that holds this country of ours together is its people. Our politicians are just about all crooked. And who puts them in office? People really need to start looking at these guys and when they make one wrong move, get them out of office and into prison. When you look at the state governments, the House, the Senate..........why would anyone feel that they should follow any laws that they come up with? Why would we even want to give them our hard earned money. Our system needs a complete change back to what this country was founded on.
Why not, look at 0's deal for his home with convicted felon Rezko. The people keep electing these crooks as long as they get what they want at someone else's expense.
I hear a lot of Democrats trying to excuse Obama from any involvement. No one is saying that Obama was involved (although Obama’s outright denial of even talking with the governor seem un-credible), but there does exist a culture of corruption in Chicago politics that stretches WAY back.
And Obama comes from it. Tony Rezko anyone?
Wiretaps of governors in a sting operation are good whereas wiretaps of Islamic terrorists in a sting is “bad”.
I am reminded of Matthew 15:11
"Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
Hopefully, what won’t get lost below the radar are the other two Senate fills due to appointments by BHO — Deleware and New York.
I’ll be there’s corruption stink in those States, too.,
Reminds me of a line from the lyrics of a Sheb Wooley song from the sixties:
"He could dive deeper and come up drier....."
Agreed—Hussein was the “Chosen One” in the Chicago arena—destined to go far and be the point person for Marxist forces from the Ayers/Farrakhan branch of Chicago politics.
So he could not be found in a compromised position. Everyone else would have to expendable, but not Hussein.
I find it very interesting that Rod B. is most upset when he demands that his own wife be allowed to join the SAME SPOILS afforded to Obama’s wife, Michelle.
Michelle was on the Board of the Treehouse Corporation. making almost 50 G’s a year, while she was working for the hospital for $ 300,000 ayear, a salary that was increased by a MULTIPLE of itself once Obama came through with $ 1,000,000 in Federal earmark money for the hospital she worked for.
And the land deal with Rezko you mention is a prime example—one hand washing the other. Hussein’s fake autobiography of a man with no accomplishments, Ophrah pushing him( another Chicago hack), Wright, Farrakhan, Ayers, Dorne,Phlager,Durbin, Blagejovich, Jesse Jackson Sr. and Jr.—what a cabal.
Just folks in Mr. Hussein’s neighborhood.
Thanks for the link----looks like they named names (snicker).

CHICAGO, ILL. -- Now that Barack Obama will be moving to the White House, his seat in the U.S. Senate representing Illinois will have to be filled. That's one of Obama's first priorities today. He's meeting with Governor Rod Blagojevich this afternoon (Nov 5) in Chicago to discuss it.
Illinois law states that the governor chooses that replacement. There's already been speculation about his selection...from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr. of Chicago's south side who co-chaired Obama's presidential campaign, to recently-retired state senate president Emil Jones, to the governor himself.
It's likely the governor will make his decision quickly so the new senator will get some seniority before newly-elected senators take office in January. Part of the timing depends on when Obama officially vacates his senate seat.
KHQA's Alexis Hunt is speaking with Illinois Senator John Sullivan today about his thoughts on that replacement process, his time working with Obama in the state senate, and if there's a chance Sullivan might play a role in the Obama administration. Watch KHQA News at 5:00, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. tonight to hear what he has to say.
