"...push for immediate investments in energy efficiency, renewable power generation like wind and solar technology and the creation of a Unified National Power Grid."

So, What the heck is a "Unified National Power Grid" anyways. Is this the attempt to nationalize utility services?

Yes. While I favor massively upgrading the grid, I want it done by the private sector. The grid is already over capacity and can not support all those electric cars the libs want to force us to drive. Nor do we have the generating capacity to support that kind of load. We need to build about another 300 nuke plants, assuming they are comparable to the ones we already have. We also need a national net-metering policy to encourage micro (home based) power generation. You should be able to generate your own power and push any surplus onto the grid and get credited for any overall surplus. Sort of like a giant rechargeable battery. Or not, if you don't want to. But yes, this is an attempt to nationalize the electricity generating industry at least.
