RUSH says he believes that Fitzgerald shut down an on-going Democrat crime-spree investigation after being called by Rohm Emanual.

There could be another reason. On Fox, de jedge was just saying that Fitzgerald may have bought himself another 4 years in office. It's custom for all Federal prosecutors to be asked to resign their office at the time of a presidential change of office. Now, Obama may be politically cornered in re-appointing Fitzgerald to another term. If he doesn't he'll open himself up to major political criticism. Fitzgerald may have acted to save his job...

I don’t think it played that way at THIS time. This was an easy bust for Fitz. I don’t think he’s the type that looks too far down the road concerning his job.

He’s done bidding for both sides now. I think he’s all about getting an indictment under any circumstances.
