Time for a government bailout!
The Obama administration can't let one of their most valuable propaganda resources go under this early in the game.

http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2008/12/tribune-files-for-bankruptcy.html
Media conglomerate Tribune Co. has filed for bankruptcy protection, pressured by high debts.
The Chicago Tribune’s parent company was working with bankruptcy advisers at investment bank Lazard and law firm Sidley Austin to weigh financial options, sources told the Chicago Tribune for this morning’s paper.
Tribune Co. has been struggling under a $13 billion debt load since real estate magnate Sam Zell took the company private last December in an $8.2 billion leveraged buyout. The company faces a deadline today on $70 million of unsecured debt it took on before Zell’s deal.

Now that they are bankrupt maybe the LA Times will finally release the Obama farewell party video or sell it to the highest bidder.

I win! After not subscribing to the LA Slimes for more than 20 years and not buying a paper since the Clinton Impeachment I can claim victory. I and other like-minded individuals drove this not-good-enough-for-birdfeeder rag into bankruptcy. WooHooooo!

I hope I don’t smell another bailout coming. Has anyone come up with a drink called the BAILOUT yet? Might be a good time for one.
