My argument is that the various Secretaries of State have not performed their prescribed duty. While it is proper that John McCain produced his valid COLB for examination, the fact remains that he is a citizen of the United States by way of statute, but not by way of birth on U.S. soil; therefore, he is not “natural born,” as required by the Constitution. He was and is ineligible to run for POTUS. The several SOSs should have refused his application. I do not come to this conclusion in jest. I voted for the man, but did so in ignorance of this issue.
I do not contend Senator McCain willfully committed fraud, only that the Constitution, as written, was not followed.
The preset legal storm raging against president-elect Barak Obama is a different matter. He is likely, and willfully, perpetrating a gross fraud, and getting a pass from the courts, at our expense. The fact that he has expended so much money and effort to prevent examination of what should be innocuous documentation is sufficient to strongly suspect him culpable in the alleged offense(s).
Considering the gravity of the matter, there exists no legitimate reason that Mr. Obama should act so secretive. Even if full disclosure were to reveal some family scandal, such personal embarrassment does not trump the imperative constitutional issue at stake. More prudentially, if he is this mysterious about something relatively trivial, then what may we expect of him in matters of sober consequence, such as those that may determine war or peace?
People are working very hard to dismiss this issue as another conspiracy theory, supported only by those on the fringe of rational thought. That is disingenuous hype from intellectually dishonest cowards, who perhaps greatly fear what results a truthful vetting might reveal, not only about Barak H. Obama, but also about their own lack of prudence in respect to preserving this republic and its Constitution. They have a dog in the race, whether they choose to admit so or not it is their own reputations.
If Obama is a natural born citizen of these United States, and thus the legitimately elected President, then so be it. I accept that outcome. However, I must know that his merit to serve is founded upon truth and the supreme law of our nation; that his prize was not awarded through deceit. Until such supporting facts are presented in a clear unbiased public forum, without interference or subterfuge, there is justifiable doubt to his right to assume and hold the office of the Presidency.
