Here is Gov (commerce secretary elect)Bill Richardson saying in Spanish that Obama is an "immigrant." (So he understands understands "immigrant" issues.)The context suggests that by "immigrant" bill richardson means "illegal immigrant"

Here in plain English is the Kenyan Ambassador saying that Obama is born in Kenya.

............

from obama's own site factcheck.org by way of fightthesmears on his dual citizenship at birth

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

All I want to know is if Obama was born in Hawaii or Kenya, I don’t get the dual citizenship thing, if he was born here then that’s all that matters to me.

...the fact that while Obama was born in Hawaii, his father was a Kenyan national. Donofrio argues that because of his father’s British residency, Obama has a dual citizenship, which disqualifies him from the presidency.

However, while the governor’s office in Hawaii contends Obama’s birth certificate is valid, the location where the birth took place has yet to be confirmed.

Great writer here! Oh, and a great editor, too!

The following reference is by Emer de Vattel (April 25, 1714 - December 28, 1767). He was a Swiss philosopher, diplomat, and legal expert whose theories laid the foundation of modern international law and political philosophy. He is most famous for his 1758 work, "The Law of Nations or the Principles of Natural Law Applied to the Conduct and to the Affairs of Nations and of Sovereigns." This work was his claim to fame and won him enough prestige to be appointed as a councilor to the court of King Augustus III of Saxony.

From p. 183 of "The Law of Nations":

NOTE the words "born", "parents" and "citizens".

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Now here's a copy of the famous letter from John Jay to George Washington during the Constitutional Convention where he suggests the President be a natural born Citizen.

Notice how John Jay has Underlined the word "born". On the Constitutional drafts, he underlines born" in nearly all instances.

Five weeks after the state of Hawaii vouched for the authenticity of President-elect Barack Obama’s birth certificate, the controversy over allegations that Obama is not eligible to take office next month has reached the Supreme Court, which is expected to announce Monday whether it will consider the matter.

Has nothing to do with “wounds.” It has nothing to do with Obama’s partially black skin color. But it has everything to do with someone trying to defecate on the United States Constitution.

Given the horribly skewed and completely unsympathetic press the issue is now getting in the MSM, this is actually fairly evenhanded. I've never heard of "Afro." Is it strictly online, or online and print? How widely read?

I could fairly easily look these things up myself, but am heading into the office in a minute or two, and so I can't right now.

"...puts an end to this ongoing series of time consuming lawsuits that are clogging up court calendars in states across the U.S.”

OBAMA is responsible for all of these the lawsuits because he is the one using the legal system to avoid having to show his original paper birth certificate.

And, still they don't get it.
