There are those, even on this forum, who would add to her already lengthy list of woes, carrying the spawn of these hoodlums for nine months, and giving birth to a child whose father would be either unknown or if identified, a worthless POS, take your pick.

There is nothing which justifies terminating a life. It is not the unborn child's fault that their father was a monster or their mother a rape victim. The only thing aborting such a child would do is create 2 victims where there had been 1.

I tend to agree with your view there. Note that I did not argue for her to have an abortion if pregnant.

My belief that all life is sacred, and my belief that human life begins at conception, informs my opinions about abortion.

My belief in the right of all people to freedom and self-determination informs my opinion about the proper extent of the law as it applies to the actions of free people.

Abortion, as a legal and social issue, is exceedingly complex and reasonable people will disagree.

Abortion, as a personal, moral, ethical issue, is to me perfectly clear. It is the killing of a human being, whether that is nine months or one day after conception, and all other considerations must acknowledge that simple fact.
