Sorry, but I don’t buy your suggestion to cheer Obama when he does well.... Politicians play to whatever crowd is before them...
I demand that Obama PROVE he is eligible under the Constitution to serve as President...
If he can’t - then he is no better than a con man or illegal alien committing fraud to secure a position he wasn’t legally entitled to hold.
We’re supposed to be a nation of LAWS...
They are supposed to apply to ALL of us, even the messiahs among us.
I have to disagree with you. Check out this post from Politico: Liberals Voice Concerns About Obama. What I predicted yesterday is already happening.
I am not an appeaser. I will never support Obama on anything that goes against conservative principles. When he does something right though, I will publicly support him on it. Not only because it's the right thing to do -- it also irritates the heck out of Democrat nutroots every time we point out that Obama has broken a liberal campaign promise.
We know that if Al Gore had won in 2000 and gone to war in Iraq with the exact same results, the leftists would be slavering over what a great job Gore has done. The only reason they are against the war on terror is because it was Bush's idea.
I don't want us to sink into Obama Derangement Syndrome where we criticize everything that he does, regardless of whether it was the right thing to do. Criticize him when he does something wrong. Praise him when he does something right and take joy in knowing that you're irritating liberals and lessening his chance for re-election.
If the Republicans get their act together and liberals are disappointed with Obama in 2010, we can take back congress and send Pelosi and Reid packing.
