I think the problem is that there is more than one nuclear site, and we don’t know exactly where they are. I think some of them are also located underground, where it would be difficult to blow them up. I have no doubt that GWB would have taken care of Iran’s nuclear ambitions if it was as easy as just attacking a site.
With the numerous nuclear sites the only way to destroy their nuclear ambitions would be to blow up the whole country. Might not be a bad idea, but if GW doesn’t have the balls to do it, BO certainly won’t.
