This area of Washington has a significant number of ex mil guys and gals. They came through Fort Lewis or McChord and liked it so much, they stayed.
Or they were defense consultants at Boeing.

That kind of thing.

When Dudes batteries run out in his I-phone and he can’t get to Google maps, he’s SOL!!

LOL,,,Roger Dat on the SOL !

I guess half the folks in that place worked for Boeing at

one time or another,,,

My ex-mil and her sister worked on the B-52’s,,,

The kids would take off from school to pick berries at

the local farms when the season came,,,

Earned money and could bring home plenty for Mom to can,,,
(try that now)

I hate to hear about the thugs movin’ into the Puyallup area

but lots of places are like that now...

I live in Virginia Beach where there are more retired seals than
actual seals in some parts of Alaska. We (friends) already have a plan, and it doesn't
include waiting around for the Government to protect hungry looters.

Having a 4-stoke motorcycle to get out of populated urban areas fast,
was the best advice I was ever told. Don't forget the bug-out bag.
