Sarah Palin has been cleared of abusing her office in the "Troopergate" case by a state personnel board, which over-turned the findings of an earlier probe by the state legislator. The investigation into the dismissal of the state's public safety commissioner found that the Alaskan governor had not abused the power of her office by firing Walt Monegan. It also cleared her from ethics violations in respect to her dealings regarding Michael Wooten, the state trooper involved in a contentious divorce and custody battle with her sister. The report, released the day before the US presidential elections, concluded there was "no probable cause" that the Republican vice presidential candidate had violated the state's executive ethics act in dismissing Mr Monegan. Last month an investigation commissioned by the state legislature found Mrs Palin had violated ethics rules when she dismissed Mr Monegan in July, allegedly because he refused to fire Mr Wooten. Mrs Palin requested the second investigation be conducted by the state personnel board after alleging the legislature's probe was politically motivated. The board's report, posted on the Anchorage Daily News website, said that "absent from the evidence reviewed is any assertion that the Governor directed anyone in the Department of Public Safety to terminate Trooper Wooten, or directed anyone on her staff to seek the termination of Trooper Wooten."

“Mohammed?”
You forgot “peace be unto him”.
PBUH.
There. Please don’t cut my head off.
Absolutely it’s all that gets their attention,if nothing else cost them a bunch of bucks. These clowns have to understand that every time they mess with our guys/gals there is a price to be paid.
Not to worry, when she runs for President in 2012, they’ll bring it up ad nauseam.

I believe Holder will be the first of Obama’s creeps to resign or be forced out.
Notice they fail to use her title, ‘Governor’. Not surprising, considering the source.
Great timing. Hey, howz Obama’s birth certificate issue coming along? Still on the fast track?
Ummm ... around here the first word is not ‘peace’, but it sounds a bit like that ...
I’m with you my friend. I think the GOP has been coopted by demrats. The GOP should acknowledge that fact by melding into the demrat party. It is no longer an opposition party therefore it serves no useful function. Right now America is a one party country and that is dangerous.
A second opposition party needs to be formed or evolved from a conservative party that already exists. It’s the only way to save the Constitution and what made America great.
The Democratic and Republican Parties have become merely opposite wings of the same bird, and it’s the American people who are getting the bird as our elected officials serve their corporate masters and the special interest groups that dominate both parties.

ahhh....thanks for remembering the rules!
This should get the prominent news coverage that the original allegations received.
But no, the MSM is more concerned about her daughter’s sex life. Oh my gosh, her daughter got pregnant without a husband, tsk tsk. And do we know who the real mother of Sarah’s baby is — I don’t think the MSM drove that story into the ground yet.
I’m still steamed at the N.Y. Times, about the Sarah Palin baby and daughter pregnancy stories. I still can’t believe, that they way they talk about journalistic ethics and values, that they ran those stories. Their “source” for their front-page stories were half-assed bloggers spouting stream of consciouness nonsense on liberal blog sites. What the heck ever happened to fact checking and editing? I guess though, if something appears on a DU or Daily Kos type blog, it is gospel truth. So of course they went with those stories.
