While Christians pray, feed and clothe their enemies, Muslims rape, pillage, and behead them.

Maybe its about time that Christians start fighting for their rights. The UN should pass a resolution protecting rights of Christians to worship.

Yes, it it sad. Muslims destroyed the World Trade Center, and only 7 years later America elects a Muslim as president. It didn't take long for the multicultural left to surrender to America's enemy.

The political left knows that it cannot impose its socialist utopia as long as Christianity is the dominant religion in the West. The left has made great progress in marginalizing Christianity with the ideology of multiculturalism. The left now controls most of the schools in Europe and America.

What the left does not understand is that Christianity is the only defense standing between the West and Islamic extremism. (Churchill was aware of this before World War II.) Now that the left has elected a Muslim as president, things will deteriorate very quickly over the next 4 years. I do believe there will be some attack on American under the new administration that will dwarf 9/11 in its destruction of life and property. And I believe that the new administration will implicitly cooperate in this destruction. The government will then be able to impose martial law.

One only needs to read the daily and weekly attacks by Muslims around the world on Christians to understand that this is never going to stop and that these 2 religions will not be able to co-exist on the same planet.

Islam and the Jews: The Pact of Umar, 9th Century CE

THE Pact of Umar is the body of limitations and privileges entered into by treaty between conquering Muslims and conquered non-Muslims. We have no special treaty of this sort with the Jews, but we must assume that all conquered peoples, including the Jews, had to subscribe to it. Thus the laws cited below and directed against churches apply to synagogues too. The Pact was probably originated about 637 by Umar I after the conquest of Christian Syria and Palestine. By accretions from established practices and precedents, the Pact was extended; yet despite these additions the whole Pact was ascribed to Umar. There are many variants of the text and scholars deny that the text as it now stands could have come from the pen of Umar I; it is generally assumed that its present form dates from about the ninth century.

The Pact of Umar has served to govern the relations between the Muslims and "the people of the book," such as Jews, Christians, and the like, down to the present day.

In addition to the conditions of the Pact listed below, the Jews, like the Christians, paid a head-tax in return for protection, and for exemption from military service. Jews and Christians were also forbidden to hold government office. This Pact, like much medieval legislation, was honored more in the breach than in the observance. In general, though, the Pact increased in stringency with the centuries and was still in force in the 20th century in lands such as Yemen. The Pact is in Arabic.

This is a writing to Umar from the Christians of such and such a city. That we will honor the Muslims and rise up in our assemblies when they wish to take their seats; that we will not imitate them in our dress, either in the cap, turban, sandals, or parting of the hair; that we will not make use of their expressions of speech, nor adopt their surnames [infidels must not use greetings and special phrases employed only by Muslims]; that we will not ride on saddles, or gird on swords, or take to ourselves arms or wear them, or engrave Arabic inscriptions on our rings; that we will not sell wine [forbidden to Muslims]; that we will shave the front of our heads; that we will keep to our own style of dress, wherever we may be; that we will wear girdles round our waists [infidels wore leather or cord girdles; Muslims, cloth and silk].

That we will not display the cross upon our churches or display our crosses or our sacred books in the streets of the Muslims, or in their market-places; that we will strike the clappers in our churches lightly [wooden rattles or bells summoned the people to church or synagogue]; that we will not recite our services in a loud voice when a Muslim is present; that we will not carry Palm branches [on Palm Sunday] or our images in procession in the streets; that at the burial of our dead we will not chant loudly or carry lighted candles in the streets of the Muslims or their market places; that we will not take any slaves that have already been in the possession of Muslims, nor spy into their houses; and that we will not strike any Muslim.

All this we promise to observe, on behalf of ourselves and our co-religionists, and receive protection from you in exchange; and if we violate any of the conditions of this agreement, then we forfeit your protection and you are at liberty to treat us as enemies and rebels.

So true & yet they want to ban Christians in just about every forum. Ironic & sad.

Just remember stories like these when you liberal friends say that Muslims are inclusive and peaceful people. The world over, the Islamic followers are violent and abusive to their own people, children, and women. Not the the National Organization of Women would care.

ACCOMODATION IS FUTILE! Treat them as they treat you

If you didn't read it today, during the hajj to Mecca, there were 10’s of thousands protesting US/Israel saying we were pagans...the Saudis didn't stop them from being “political”.

What the latte-drinking, small eyeglass-wearing, Nation/Mother Jones reading, Obama pin-sporting brainwashed “intellectual” Liberal (I live in Northern California, so excuse my glib commentary) cannot, or will not understand is that Obama is seen as the next Imam...and will do anything to hurt Christianity. The Left has been taught to hate Christians as their morality is deemed “hateful” to other “lifestyles” when Christians have provided more help, aid and sacrifice than ANY other religion.

The Left is lost, thinking they are doing well for the few is really merely justifying a consequence-free life they seek...free of care, judgment, care for anyone but themselves and open to any type of perversion or lawlessness that they want to do. Laws, borders, family, ambition, restraint, charity are all foreign words to a Liberal, in fact, in terms of charitable giving, Conservatives do and pay much more than Liberals.

When Liberals do give money to pressure groups, open border advocacy groups, faux global warming activists, gay rights activists, anti-gun groups, anti-death penalty groups, pro-abortion advocates and other “community organizers” it is merely a front for the Godless, secular-progressive agenda they all seek. Peace through repression, charity through high taxation, progress through quotas, not ability and an overall soft and permissive society where wanton sex, drugs and crime are treated as just part of life, not a part that needs to have restrictions or hard ramifications if societal norms are transgressed.

As I said before, the true antithesis to the Liberal, Secular-Progressive is Islam...the polar opposite to the religion that murders and intimidates anyone who does not adhere to a lifestyle much, much less tolerant that the current United States. Where is GLAAD, NOW, PETA, Sierra Club, Amnesty International, etc. during all of the thousands of Muslim murders, tortures, disfigurements and disenfranchisement of their own people and victims? The silence is deafening, but demonstrates the real agenda is a world socialism of Secular Progressive goals they seek, the Muslim and Marxist are far apart in ideological sense, until we elected the fusion of both, Barry Soetero a.k.a. Barack Hussein Obama. Don't forget, pending a surprise Clarence Thomas pulling the wool from Obama’s presidency due to his Kenyan birth, Barry the Pretender will have the codes to our nuclear arsenal in 6 weeks and our military under his control. If that doesn't make you jittery at night, nothing on earth could, including sharks, snakes, ghosts or demons.

I keep reading about the 2012 end times stuff, some of the pyramid New World Order information and think that we may be headed to a final 4 Horsemen scenario very soon.

If we as Christians are to survive, there will have to be a third Crusades, but I fear nuclear weapons would drive the world to annihilation.

I think your comments are spot on. None of these left-wing groups will criticize Islam because it is exotic. The left worships exotica, just as long as its origin is not Western or Christian.

What troubles me is the young people I see walking the streets of any large city with most of their exposed flesh covered in garish tattoos and multiple face piercings with metal rigs of various sizes. This is a return to the primitive. Western culture is rotting from within. This is what CS Lewis called the fetid South. The South is a metaphor of a place where the soil is over rich and becomes a swamp.

I do believe things will get much worse before they have any chance to get better. The left thinks appeasement is the answer. It is not the answer. It will be our destruction.
