Hamilton D. Coleman (R) won a seat (the 2nd) that I think was NOLA based, in 1888 (after reconstruction) for some reason, lost in 1890. He was the last GOP congressman in the state until Dave Treen in 1973 and the last from NOLA if I am correct.
By the way Caradouche is not conceding of course he wants the machines and provisional ballots checked.
