RFK Won’t Go to D.C., Says ‘Send Caroline’
He saw a Senate seat and explained why not

Sentimental New York Democrats were rooting for Governor Paterson to appoint Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to replace Hillary Clinton in the U.S. Senate seat his father once held. But Kennedys not interested. It was a heart-wrenching decision, and it occupied me throughout Thanksgiving with my family, with Teddy, he says. Its not a good time for me to move to Washington, because I have a large and young family. Theyre all in school. Thats expensivethough not as pricey as holding on to the seat. Against formidable opponents, most likely Peter King and possibly Rudy Giuliani, to defend the seat, Im assuming its going to cost $30 million, he says. That means $60 million in four years. Instead, Im urging my cousin Caroline to take it, because I think she would be fantastic, he says. I sent her a note; I havent heard back from her. Shell be a huge force in the Senate. Any other ideas? Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand, he suggests. What about his ex-brother-in-law, Andrew Cuomo? I would leave those considerations to Governor Paterson, Kennedy says.

Well he is turning it down in favor of SoE. Course he isn't saying that, but the O has already said he wants him.
I'd rather see him a Senator!

Go Peter King (Giuliani will suffice too).
Liberal Republicans in hard left wing states are OK with me.

Kennedys harshest public thrashing to date, however, came from one of his closest colleagues, Riverkeeper founder Robert Boyle. Along with seven other Riverkeeper board members, Boyle resigned in 2000 after Kennedy insisted upon hiring a convicted environmental felon as the groups chief scientist. At the time, Boyle told the New York Post that Kennedy is very reckless, and added that [h]es assumed an arrogance above his intellectual stature.

I think RKF wants to horde more money working for various fake non-profits and he figures its all the same as long as a fellow Kennedy gets the job. Plus a Senator has access to lots of information about the economy and what's happening in the world -- data that would be very valuable to anybody managing large investments.

Today, Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg seems to have negotiated a happy compromise between celebrity and anonymity. She lives with her husband and three children in a spacious apartment on Park Avenue and in a shingled weekend house on Long Island, near the Hamptons.
She walks her daughters a few blocks to Brearley, the private girls' school she also attended and where she sits on the board of trustees.

IIRC she was instrumental in a disasterous headmistress appointment at Brearley.
And it's a long walk from Park to Brearley. I am certain they did NOT walk.

King is only liberal on very few issues. He is a die hard conservative on others.

Eye candy? She is one of the most unattractive young women I have ever seen in my life.

these people act like royalty, just assuming their family should be the anointed ones. And that is how monarchies and aristochracies began. Give time, we to would end up with either a king or an emperor.
Remember the Dianamania here in the good ol' USofA.

Rudy Giuliani would have a pretty good chance of winning, and Peter King would have an outside shot. Otherwise, I don’t see it happening in 2010.

I meant to say that Chelsea was just there, she didn’t talk to the news media or the people much if at all. She’s sorta attractive but to each his own if you don’t think so.
I was trying to say that she was just there to be seen but didn’t do much else in her mom’s campaign.
To: COUNTrecount
RFK is a idiot. If he didn't have Kennedy as a last name NO ONE would be listening. He was and is wrong on the environment and global warming. And just what does Caroline know other than being related to Ted. They all left Robert and John's ideas a long time ago and aren't even a small resemblance to them. Their ideology is pure Teddy liberalism and taxation. If that gov has any good sense he will chose Rudy.
