Snubbed by Palin, Oprah is fuming now
Oprah Winfrey has slammed Sarah Palin after the failed Republican vice-presidential candidate snubbed offers to appear on the chat queens show. While Palin did make an appearance on other US hosts Greta Van Susteren, Matt Lauer and Larry Kings shows to talked about her unsuccessful bid to reach the White House, but she ignored The Oprah Show despite being invited.
And such mistreatment has left Oprah bitter and she has now claimed that the Alaskan governor will be desperate to talk to her when she releases her memoirs.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta. She talked to Matt. She talked to Larry. But she didn't talk to me. Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a (multi-million dollar) book deal, Contactmusic quoted Oprah as saying.
The US TV titan has been a committed supporter of US President-elect Barack Obama throughout his campaign for the White House.
She will also host her show from Washington, D.C. the day before his inauguration in January (09).

I was literally waiting for this reaction by Oprah, it’s so predictable.
If you’ve ever had to deal with liberals, especially in any entertainment field it’s all about them and how they feel, the world revolves around them. Oprah would kiss up to Palin to get her on her show to increase HER ratings, but if Palin won’t play along she will be attacked, as if she has to do what OPRAH wants her to do.
Look at Letterman, same behavior, even after McCain came on his show he still attacked him on his show and in shows afterwards
Liberals have a twisted sense of entitlement, Oprah did everything she could to help Obama and wouldn’t have Palin on her show when it could have helped Palin and somehow finds herself outraged when the “favor” is returned.
Well, she also had Obama on her show prior to the election but refused to have McCain or Palin. So she's setting a double standard. She does have a right to have who she wants on her show, but those she invites also have a right not to appear.
I love it!
She doesn’t have the clout she once had, and she’s finding that out.
Sooner or later, the market corrects itself and we see a correction of artificially overvalued products. Media-wise, her fat-ass is overvalued.
Wow, that's very apt! Did you write that? If not, where did you find it?
Ive never understood the popularity of the Oprah Show. The concept is an overweight woman, sitting on a couch with a microphone, lording her eight-figure paycheck over people with five-figure paychecks if they are lucky. She recommends books that she doesnt read, gives away gifts that she hasnt paid for and dispenses advice that she hasnt followed. Youd have to be a masochist to sit and watch such a show. Palin shows intelligence by not enabling the Oprah pandering.
You forgot builds schools for underprivileged girls in Africa. Rushes in front of cameras to take credit for her wonderful humanitarian act while in truth she is simply funneling money out of this country. Money which was made off the backs of those couch weights who sit in her audience. Mostly suburban white housewives who have absolutely no ties to any African nation.
There’s another “snub” dynamic here at work that’s got to irk Oprah something fierce and helps explain Palin’s reserve toward Oprah — I’ll bet Sarah Palin has never actually watched, nor particularly wanted to watch, an entire Oprah show, or even many clips. She probably doesn’t hang around many, if any, who are Oprah regulars. Palin probably has, like me, about as much visceral interest in Oprah as a nine-year-old boy has in quilting magazines.
Omarosa is much more Orca’s type.
Oprah doesn’t understand or have much influence on the market that is interested in Sarah’s memoirs. Sarah’s book will go number one out of the starting blocks, and it will stay there for a good while without Oprah’s help.
I received it in an e-mail with no attribution. It happened to arrive the day after we had canceled our DirecTV service...after 13 years. We just got tired of supporting all of the propaganda and crap. It was the best decision we ever made.
Oprah can bite me!
... “she talked to Greta. She talked to Matt. She talked to Larry. But she didn’t talk to me.”
Oh, poor Oblah!
We feel your pain... NOT!
The world doesn’t go around YOU — you silly air-head!
Maybe Obrah should schedule an appointment with Dr. Pill... maybe he can help her.
STE=Q
Not to mention the fact that Sarah is a Christian and the New Age junk (Eckhart Tolle) that Oprah pushes certainly isn’t.
The best reason I can think of for Sarah not to go on Oprah’s show is that she might not be able to resist throwing a harpoon at her.
I know someone who worked for the campaign, she was a volunteer. She told me that Sarah told John to NOT vote for the bailout, but he refused, he thought that he knew better, that it was for the best interest of the country because he said that he couldn’t allow the banks to fail, she told him how the country did NOT want the bailout, but he still voted yes. That’s when Sarah and John’s relationship kinda fizzled, she realized she did not know him like she thought she did. She definitely respects him, she thinks he is a good man and she appreciates everything he did for her, but she didn’t agree with him at all about that, she knew then he had lost the election. He was stubborn, he blew it, and she knew it
So let me get this straight:
Oprah refused to have Palin on her show pre-election, but now wants to have Palin on her show, Palin refuses and Oprah can’t figure out why?
Maybe she’ll talk to me now that she has a (multi-million dollar) book deal, Contactmusic quoted Oprah as saying.
No, she won’t.
NOprah jus dOwn geet eet. Nobama iz a 0. N she dis3d Sarah. Iz jus plain NOprah. ffaaa!
