A story in the Dispatch this morning that should be read in full (HT Michelle Malkin) about Ms. Niekamp's testimony before the Ohio House's Government and Elections Committee reveals just how imperiled she was.
While carrying out a personal order from a superior who was trying to cover his tracks, she was reminded that she was an "unclassified" employee. In plain English, she was threatened with her job if she didn't do what she was told (bolds are mine):

shes lucky that they only threatend her job, and not to smear her and her entire family in the press as they tried to do with Joe..this is the way of the future for this admin and it enablers.
I doubt it. Joe the plumber is going to be able to buy his plumbing business when it’s all said and done.
But If I were him, I’d just take the money retire and move. The Zero economy will just bankrupt his business anyway. Besides, Zero will just take the money and give in to the auto workers union next December anyways, and devalue what ever is left.
Like Bush says, the Government/nation is broke. Auto worker bailout money, all 100+ billion of it will have to be printed.
Standard, state/federal Democrat employee procedure dealing with covert activities.
This story is not only about the media once again covering up a story.
The left has networked themselves throughout every part of this country in order to help them gain control and work toward maintaining control.
We the People should be extremely concerned.
Sue the hypenated, DemocRAT!
...also omitted from the story will be the name of the Union she belongs to and all the Union Leaders who are ‘helping’ her with anything but a pleasant ‘you might want to put ice on that’!
