Looking better, but not out of the woods quite yet. Remember, FranKKKen and his goons are Godless, amoral anarchists. I read somewhere that Smalley hired the same thug to run his recount scam as Gregoire did in Washington, where grand theft, election ruled the day. Don't recall his name.

I expect more shenanigans from the venal Smalley. He and his goons have no conscience.

I don’t put anything past them but they no longer have what they hoped to get in their sights which was a 60 vote majority. Truthfully I don’t think Harry Reid or the Democrat Senate wants that clown. Sure they would’ve taken him but now it really doesn’t matter. The GOP and McCain should actively work to sway Lieberman. Also they should target the few conservative Democrat members to use them as a wedge. Also they should put pressure on liberal Senators who serve in conservative states. The least it can do is weaken them in the eyes of their electorate. We need to start having a long term view, every day is election day and every liberal a walking target. Hit them ceaselessly, generate negative press about them, attack them.

Also use one simple mantra during this economic crisis. Hasn’t government spent enough already? Isn’t time to stop the bleeding? Put the government on trial and all its programs. This time more than any other people are receptive to the idea that enough is enough and it is time to take the pocket book away from the congress and the President. We need to draft a constitutional ammendment limiting taxation and spending by government officials and reforming the tax code permanently. Even if it goes no where it can set the tone. The public doesn’t seriously think the government spending trillions of more dollars is going to fix the current economic problems. People expect to sacrifice and most of those I know would rather get the pain over and done with rather than dragging it out trying to save the butts of the legions of irresponsible in government, in business, and among a portion of the citizenry who have behaved irresponsibly.

Enough is enough. Susan Powter had it right “Stop the Insanity!”
