Or, wait, maybe he was born in Hawaii -- but that doesn't matter, since he was also a British citizen at birth because of his father, and you can't be a "natural-born citizen" in that case. (But then, maybe his "father" wasn't really his father; maybe his real dad was an obscure communist poet. Or Malcolm X.)

What is the big deal? Maybe it is the fact that he won’t release so many things about himself, and not just the birth certificate. What that does is feed the fires of rumor ans speculation about what is really in his past. Anyone who pays attention to such things cannot help but wonder what is really the truth about the birth certificate, his childhood in Indonesia, his college years, Harvard law school, his questionable friends, fundraising, and a host of other things. The only logical conclusion, in the absence of full and open disclosure, is that there is that he has skeletons in his closet, and any speculation as to what those skeletons are is entirely justified in the interest of making the truth come out. 0bama can disprove all of this, unless what is hidden is too damaging to risk disclosure.
Think for a moment what it means that every time an issue regrading Obama's past associates or life history arises, David Axelrod has a list of lies to layer on the issue to hide the truth. THAT IS THE KIND OF BASTARD WE THE PEOPLE HAVE ELECTED TO BE PRESIDENT. We will get what we deserve this time, and there isn't enough Vaseline or K-Y Jelly in the world to make the experience only uncomfortable.
Allow me to be more succinct: Barack Obama is revealing what sort of anti-American bastard he is right from the start, as he pisses on the domestic tranquiility for his own empowerment and ignores our Constitution.

Koppleman did bring up the notice in the Hawaii newspaper. I have seen a photocopy of that. And the school record. And the COLB. Two supposed versions of that, actually. And the purported draft registration which may be not be what it is supposed to be. What other relevant scans are out there?
But there is no way I can prove any of this one way or another. A lot of the missing pieces of the puzzle are just suspicious, that's all.

Yes. obama’s presidency will always be in question unless he comes up with the bc. Given that, why doesn’t he just do it? Because, apparently, he has something to hide. People like Koppleman (corrent?) can write distort the issue, but it’s not that complicated.

This whole ordeal is Obama’s fault, and only he has the ability to make it go away. Maybe the leftnuts should appeal to him, if not, it should never go away.
He's suggesting that we are right wing conspiracy whackjobs just for questioning any of it. That's stuff he's picked up and spitting back at the reader. No, he's not suggesting she was the s-word I don't believe.
He didn't mention, on the offchance he was born in Kenya, the age and law in effect at the time, and I have to take the case file that the law was as it was. At first I thought it was ridiculous that he could have been born in Kenya. Then if young Ann was starry eyed and curious about other cultures as she seemed to be, it wouldn't be beyond the pale that she would have accompanied O, Sr. to Kenya to meet his family, an adventure, etc.
As another poster noted, we've seen no evidence that Hawaiian officialdom actually said he was born in Hawaii, just that there was a certificate in a lock box.
The dual-citizenship, I would think American law would take precedent except for the years in Indonesia, that I don't really know.
I've just read second hand what his sister supposedly said about the hospital, never seen a good source for that. Every question raises another question which I don't see as necessarily conspirational but critical thinking and logic.
It's possible he is as stupid as I think he really is and doesn't comprehend the difference between the source document (prepared at birth), the long form (with all the good stuff), and the short form (the folded document he kept in a drawer with his cufflinks).
Rather than attempt to "cover up" stuff, people in authority, like the ol'gal who runs the records center in Hawaii, should 'splain stuff to Obama so he can take appropriate action.
Instead, these idiots keep firing the flames of controversy and Obama just trundles along smiling and waving and delivering Axelrod's speeches.
Oh, yeah, I did say "cover up" ~ there are people who think that by taking a defensive posture they can actually "cover up" the problem and protect their candidate.

This thought just occurred to me.
The BC had a date on it of 2007. They explained that away by saying they had obtained it in 2007.That can’t be his original birth certificate. It was sealed at adoption.
Wouldn’t the next birth certificate - done at adoption - change his last name?

One thing is damn sure clear..HE FLAT OUT LIED WHEN HE APPLIED TO THE STATE BAR STATING HE HAD NEVER GONE BY ANY OTHER NAMES.
MAYBE SALON.COM OUGHT TO WRITE ABOUT THAT.
Add to that the supposedly sealed school records that could show anything and the Illinois bar app and the possible use of two different names and clear up the draft registration, by experts as you say, then it would be virtually dead, agreed.
I mean if it looks like, smells like and walks like a conspiracy . . . .what else is a person to make of it.
There are two things that I don't necessarily buy into. The radio show that called the ambassador. He could have meant Obama, Sr. The grandmother in Kenya, could have been a translation error (or idiomatic) or she's old and her memory may not be so good; I do look for alternative explanations.
