Yes, Virginia, There Is Obama Derangement Syndrome
Pajamas Media ^ | December 5 | Rick Moran

Now there are two ways you can approach the tinfoil hat crowd on the Internet. You can rail against their paranoia and stupidity or you can laugh at them and view their idiocy as entertainment. I choose the latter most of the time because it’s very hard to keep a straight face when someone who is perfectly “normal” in every other respect earnestly assures me that Bush planned the 9/11 attacks or that the president will never leave office, using the military to stay in power.

But to prove Hofstadter’s point that the paranoid style is not limited to one side of the ideological spectrum, there is a movement being advanced by otherwise normal and rational people on the right to nullify the election last month using as a basis the preposterous notion that President-elect Barack Obama is not eligible for office because he was not born in the United States...

Our Constitution is more important than the threat of civil unrest.
Because if the Constitution is trashed because of that fear of reprisal over an illegal President, the threat of civil unrest will still exist for an even better reason. Our Constitution is STILL WORTH FIGHTING FOR.

I’m with you, because I’m of the same worldview.

Those with the liberal mindset, however, don’t see any value in any agreement or law or doctrine of the past when compared to the “importance” of the issue in the here and now.

We have 4 solid judges of the conservative mindset, 4 that surely believe that putting 0bama in power and avoiding civil unrest are more important, and 1 that could go either way.

People without any meaningful facts to support their point of view, such as the author of this article, are forced to engage in ad-hominem attacks. The facts don’t change based on gratuitous insults.
