WRONG! Children born of two US parents are US citizens AT BIRTH regardless of where they are born. This has been the law approximately forever. YES THEY ARE US CITIZENS BUT THEY ARE NOT “NATURAL BORN” CITIZENS UNLESS THEY ARE BORN ON US SOIL TO THE PARENTS WHO ARE CITIZENS.

Your statement above is FALSE!!

Citizens chlidren born abroad DO NOT undergo “naturalizaiton”.
YES THAT IS RIGHT. SORRY IF I STATED THAT WRONGLY AS I KNOW CHILDREN OF US CITIZENS BORN ABROAD ARE CITIZENS....JUST NOT “NATURAL BORN”.

Naturalization is not a vague term, it is a process that includes taking tests and culminates in taking an oath of citizenship. American CITIZENS born abroad DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS PROCESS.

There is ZERO differentiation in law between Citizens BORN ON US SOIL and CITIZENS BORN ELSEWHERE. Both are CITIZENS and both are NATURAL BORN CITIZENS. (This is where we do not agree. Both are Citizens but only those born on US soil of citizen parents are “natural born”.

We will just have to agree to disagree! :)

Can you help us out and provide the law that states this?
