Cool. Hope they go through with the idea.
Where’s the Swiss Bikini Team?
So much for tradition.
.......Hey, that's not an Uzi! LOL!
Don’t they have a height requirement? Are Swiss ladies very tall?
Click the pic on post #1, it’s for real!
In addition to being wrong for so many other reasons, it is nigh impossible to conceive a way in which this could be done without being in direct conflict with the Enclyclical “Mulieris Dignitatem,” which is part of the ordinary magisterium.
I remember watching female soldiers from a mixed unit trying to set up one of those heavy canvas tents that hold about thirty people, since it was for the women themselves the men just watched them for a while, in fact a small crowd gathered, as someone that had never watched female soldiers in action outside of movies I learned a lot.
BTW Jill, I remember your pic shooting a gun on your profile...I like that as well. I was down in Virginia about one month ago and had opportunity to shoot a gun for the first time in my life at the gun range...a 44, 22, 9 and a 38 revolver were the guns my friend owned and I chose to shoot. The 44 was extremely powerful, but I found the 9 most comfortable and accurate. I believe the police use the 9. I actually shot very well. In fact, my friend I was with has taught his 13 year old, 16 year old and 19 year old daughters how to shoot. His daughters, all great and respectful kids, routinely go to the range to increase their skills with an Army Ranger who I had opportunity to drink a beer with.
I think those girls show a ton of confidence in handling same, and it takes nothing away from their femininity.
I am strongly considering buying a gun and simply, I have no worries in doing so. It is my right to own one and it is my duty to safeguard the weapon in my home if I choose to buy one. I certainly do see the protection it would offer my family (wife & two kids) and something a bat under my bed could not afford me. Whether I do or not, as of today, remains my call. My fear is I wake up 2 to 3 years from now and that right no longer exists.

Well, did they accomplish their mission?

I’ll talk to the Holy Father tonight about it, over a beer.

...from the movies we learn that women can do anything, anything, 5 times better than a man could, at the same time they are bringing home the bacon from work, cooking it up in a pan, and, oh yeah, while they are also eight months pregnant...
...this should be the proverbial piece of cake...
In a timely manner? No, the men ended up drifting over and doing the hard parts. At first it was amusing, but then the men just wanted to end it, so they drifted over and lent their muscles to the task.
Tell him I said Hi!
