An immigration reform organization is voicing concern about president-elect Barack Obama's naming of a pro-illegal alien activist to his White House staff.
Obama has named Cecilia Munoz to serve as director of intergovernmental affairs in his administration. Munoz is an 18-year veteran of the National Council of La Raza, which has been a leading advocate for illegal immigrants. According to Ira Mehlman, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), Munoz has been a longtime supporter of open borders.

OPINION:
amnesty and open borders...
My question: When did she swim the Rio Grande or coming to San Diego in the dark of the night?
An absolute slap to the faces of the millions of Americans who have expressed their desire that the borders of this country be secured and that illegals be deported.
The Obamabots continue their seemingly inexorable march to socialism.
I genuinely fear for the future of this grand experiment...
I agree.
Open borders for illegals but closed borders for trade.
That will work wonders for our economy.
Guess the union voters are happy now

Those in power in DC all want this..GOP or Dem From BUSH on down..McCain can’t wait to vote for immigration “reform” again..and you still support the party??
Conservatives we need to revolt from the GOP and give Americans a real differance to vote for.
Rino’s control the GOP sad and it cannot be changed.
Meet the New Boss, same as the Old Boss....
why should I leave? it's much better for the spineless to be thrown out....as a example of doing what WE want, YOU DON'T ABANDON something that already has a base to start a new base, takes too long, you hold the feet to the fire who's in position to fell the heat. The GOP has good people who need to be supported....SAXBY found that out just this week. Don't think the spineless didn't notice
“takes too long, you hold the feet to the fire who’s in position to fell the heat.”
>>>>>>>.............
LOL, you mean like when McCain was down and out in the primaries and suddenly he is the candidate??
After millions of us voiced our opposition to open borders
what did it get us..L Graham back in the Senate with
McCain and the gang of 14..
You delude yourself. The GOP is a liberal swamp and
they will fight us every step of the way.
If there are true conservatives in the House and Senate..
give them a party to move to. We cannot keep up like the last 8 years.
Mexicans will have more jobs at home than here.
Mexicans will have more jobs at home than here.

gee can they then get the F out??
and who’s your candidate?
>>>>>>>>>>>..............
candidate as in party?? or person??
some here say the constitution party
or the falcon party (not a great name)
Ron Paul for his many faults is closer to conservatives
than any current GOP hack leaders..Palin I like but she has not mixed in with her views on open borders that I know of
so she is still a major unk.
Rush could get a party of conservatives going if he just would give up on the GOP we do need leaders Sen Sessions would be a great one.
...thats just it, I don't think Rush is one for "giving up" McCain was the media's candidate for the GOP...not ours, sure we backed him with all his faults, but until a clear candidate like Palin , (who followed the campaigns guide lines...immigration) emerges other things have to be taken care of...if a new party, steps forward, with clear Conservative policies that can overcome media bias, I'll take a look, until that time I'll stay.
