Justice Samuel Alito was the featured keynote speaker at the American Spectator’s annual Robert L. Bartley dinner at Washington’s Mandarin Oriental hotel last night. Democrats use the theme, if not the exact words, of “Hope and Change”, with some variation every 16 years - it appeals to new generation of younger voters who don't remember the fiascoes of previous one.

Clinton was a “Man from Hope” and had “Hope” and “Change” as big part of his campaign. Generally, utterly unqualified but young, glib, slick and “charismatic” “Hope and Change” candidate is run by Democrats every 16 years:

1960 - JFK
1976 - Jimmy Carter
1992 - Bill Clinton
2008 - Barack Obama
2024 - ?

1968 falls outside of this cycle, but it only means that candidate wouldn't win on this “platform”, according to this [generational] cycle theory.
