Antioch Bible Church: Prayer Warrior

Thursday, 04 December 2008

As you are aware, the State of Washington has allowed the Freedom from Religion Foundation to place a plaque, near the nativity scene, in the Capitol Rotunda Building in Olympia denouncing faith in God as "myth and superstition...enslaving minds."

Antioch Bible Church will be placing its own sign in the Capitol Rotunda during a press conference on Friday, December 5 at 11:00 west coast time.

Please be praying during this time that God will be glorified!

Pastor Hutch

“Her work is all about social justice,” said Catherine Person, who exhibits Lawrence’s work at Person Gallery in Seattle. “She’s the most political artist I know and the most political artist I represent by 100 miles. She’s a firebrand. Her last show in September was completely devoted to anti-Bush statements.”

But she’s not close-minded, her heart and have not been hardened. Naturally not. That kind of thing is impossible for people with the “right” opinions.

I love the “harden hearts and enslaves minds” part. Where is the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s soup kitchen. Where is their hospital? And how exactly were the minds of Aquinas, Newton, Washington, Pasteur and MLK “enslaved?”

The Atheists say: "There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell."

Prove it! What, you can't? It's a matter of belief or faith? So Atheism IS a religion! How, then, do you justify imposing your faith on others? When did Atheism adopt Christmas, or the Winter Solstice if you prefer that flimsy disguise, as a religious holiday? We, Christians, do not interfere if you celebrate Christmas in an entirely secular fashion, do not celebrate it at all, or celebrate something else entirely, so don't interfere with us.
