"helped drug traffickers"

Well we certainly wouldn't want to shoot them. W has spoken.

What do you bet they won’t do as much time as Ramos & Compean?

This is the unfortunate consequence of trying to hire 3,000 new agents a year. Everyone warned this would happen and so it has and it will take years to root out all the cartels plants.

It a scary prospect to be a Border Patrol Agent ridding in the Arizona wilderness or along the Rio Grande with a new partner who could be working for a cartel.

No desire to insult people of "Hispanic" nor Mexican descent but how many "dirty" border agents, "dirty" government workers, "dirty" government agents, including "elected officials" who turn their back on illegal immigration and the drug culture and violence are "Hispanic."

I am fully aware that just as not all Italians were/are connected to organized crime, etc. but there have been far, far too many people who have been connected to illegal immigration, human trafficking, gang violence, drug violence and crime, coming from South of the Border are either involved, connected or condone it from the "Hispanic" community.

They must step forward and demand punishment to the fullest extent of the law provided for their fellow "Hispanics" who are involved.

One of the best kept secrets in government is the corruption that exists within the border patrol, especially among unqualified Latinos who gain preference because they speak Spanish. The tragedy is that not one media source has investigated this enormous problem.

Border agents are only following what the US Government does (helping smugglers) when it gives immunity for testimony to prosecute border agents.

Why should they do any time at all? They’re Border Patrol agents. That means they are as pure as the wind-driven snow.

The corruption that exists within the border patrol is nothing compared to what’s in Congress.

I was going to point out the same thing, but you beat me to it. They have badges, ergo, they are innocent and should get back pay.

Border Patrol agents are above the law according to some Freepers.

You can change the word Hispanic with African American, Mexico with Africa; and you get the same results.

It’s taboo to mention that, and is Politically incorrect as well. Hispanics are the favorite scape goat right now ...

I guess that depends upon what minimum sentences are specified by out Congress for the indictments brought forth and if they are convicted....

I notice a popular trend here, Border Patrol agents breaking the law. Does anyone else recognize this?
