Reports are coming in of a shooting incident at Delhi’s main international airport.
Airport officials have told the BBC that up gunmen have been shot by Indian security forces.
Security had been strengthened at several Indian airports after warnings had been received of possible attacks.
The reported shootings follow last week’s attacks on Mumbai in which nearly 200 people were killed.
