Dozens of young Somali men in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area have disappeared in recent months, causing community members and U.S. intelligence officials to fear that they are joining jihadist groups in Somalia.
Officials are especially concerned that some of the men may be destined to return to the U.S. after they have received terrorist training.

The missing young men have been the focus of some attention since late October, when Shirwa Ahmed, a naturalized U.S. citizen, died in a suicide bombing in northern Somalia. Ahmed was a 1999 graduate of Minneapolis’s Roosevelt High School.
Maybe they are taking one of those famous pirate cruises.
I heard a freeper say the other day on a post a bunch of Somali’s were missing from the Detroit area as well.
I’m good with seeing them die in Somalia - they can shoot each other up there as much as they want - just not here. We seriously have to put a moratorium on immigration from muslim countries.
Perhaps they caught the showing of Blackhawk down the other night and skipped town?

It appears there is some sort of Islamic Courts recruiter here. In other words, Someone here in the states is either helping them or directing them over-seas to Somali.
Obviously it is not the whole Somali community, the community are the ones who have alerted the authorities about the missing members .... They say the community is own edge after learning one made it to Somali and became a suicide bomber.
This is not a good development ...

Maybe I should have phrased it, “Why were they allowed to immigrate here legally?”
The articles I have read seem to imply the missing are the children of Somali immigrants. Generally speaking, most immigrants come to America for a better life.
Again, the articles Ive read say little, but it sounds like there is an active recruiter for the Somalia Islamic Courts working in the US. That is a huge problem ... If you reach someone before adulthood and start brainwashing jihad idea's in their head ...
IMO, it seems to be easier for people from trouble parts of the world to LEGALLY immigrate to America than the people on the same continent.

I couldn't agree more. Even after 9/11, it seems to be the case. I would love to see some statistics to see what the amount of people immigrating from trouble regions is compared to everyone else.
