This was my take also. IMHO, if Chambliss had lost, it would have been total war to get Franken in. To have the president and a filibuster proof congress- my word, we would have been dragged into a European socialism and there is not much we could have done about it. Not that they can’t do major damage now.
The one point I will make is this. Now that we have two (TWO!) senators keeping us from getting run over by the bulldozer, watch the dems to spin everything that goes wrong as STILL the GOP’s fault. And for the MSM to gleefully back them up, too.
I bet in four years you will still be seeing videos like “Why Barack Obama won”, where the people are still saying that the pubs control the congress.

Sorry but as long as you have the likes of Specter and Voinovich etc. this magic 60 number is the most irrelevant topic on these pages. You can bet your boots that there is one or more RINO’s out there just waiting to openly side with the Messiah.
Ann Coulter predicts Franken will win the same way the Dem governor of Washington won: they both have the same “adviser,” a guy named Berendt who is an accomplished vote thief.
You have to figure a few dems, also don’t want that nut in the senate.

But the election was almost a month ago. I should think it is unlikely that new uncounted ballots would appear now.
My thoughts too. The mysterious 300 votes against Frankin that recently appeared and that are freaking Frankin out, are probably because of the Chamblis win and the Democrat fraud wing saying, “Frankin, you just aren’t worth it now.”
It does give them an excuse for Obama being a miserable failure. Not, a good one, mind you, but they will make the most of it.

...also, you would be hard pressed to find ONE DINO that would side with pubs. On ANYTHING!
In Washington they kept appearing; in one instance 10,000 absentee ballots appeared out of nowhere - 2,000 more than had been sent out to that precinct but the “Republican” SecState accepted them. I wonder where she vacations now?
Many of problems we face at all levels of government is due to the fact that many elected “Republicans” are just trying to get along, to go along, to play nice.
Just a few days ago, Senator Collins from Maine, was shocked about how mean the Democrats were to her during the election.
To think some of her colleagues from the other side of the isle came to Maine and said bad things about her. A RINO that sees the light-naw!
