Will Obama stay the course?

I do so want to believe that Barack Obama is on the right track. His brain is big, his style fresh, his pronouncements both logical and compelling, and it does feel good to have a president-elect elicit universal respect rather than make the world cringe. Indeed, he's downright inspiring when he defends constitutional restraint on the presidency, and shuns torture. Bush is so yesterday, but imagine how panicked we would now be if John McCain and Sarah Palin were about to take a turn at the wheel.

Yet, it all does hang on him. Yes, him. Obama. The man. The superstar, and not that supporting cast of retreads from a failed past that have popped up in his administration in the making. Now that we have the list of his top economic and foreign policy picks - mostly a collection of folks who wouldn't know change if it slapped them upside the head - we've got to hope that it's Obama who is using them, and not the other way around.

Hi Freepers,
I am just trying to spread the word about a fellow Freeper’s web site and the Freedom March Organization. Joe Thunder started the organization and the link is below. Perhaps you have heard the Joe Thunder program on Plains Radio Network. Please visit and read about the mission of the Freedom March Organization. Perhaps you might want to join and help in any way you can. I am helping by spreading the word about events that will take place. Right now we are focusing on showing support for Leo Donofrio, Cort Wrotnowski, and Alan Keyes in their efforts to bring the truth to light.

Joe Thunder has organized a Freedom March for this coming Friday in Washington D.C. to bring attention to the important decision to by made by our honorable Supreme Court Justices. Please read about the details at the Freedom March link below. Perhaps you know folks who live in the D.C. area who would want to join other Freepers and Patriots to show support for Leo Donofrio and Cort Wrotnowski in hopes there cases will be heard.

Please spread the word to Freepers you know and anyone on your email list you know would want to help.
Thanks so much! seekthetruth

"...his top economic and foreign policy picks - mostly a collection of folks who wouldn't know change if it slapped them upside the head - we've got to hope that it's Obama who is using them, and not the other way around... If there is a grand arc to Obama's appointments strategy, it seems aimed at providing the appearance of continuity ..."

Ahhhhh... how refreshing to watch lib logic in action! The above logic by moonbat Robert Scheer is that of a moonbat in denial that he has been BAMBOOZLED!!! Yes! Obama's same-o-same-o is some grand arc of complexity that we mere mortals cannot appreciate at this stage! LOL!

Robert, we Conservatives call it you being HOODWINKED BEHIND THE WOODSHED!

And will lay the blame squarely on the GOP.

And the people will buy it hook line and sinker.

I am certain McCain is ruing the day he supported the bailout.

It's a good thing I've already had breakfast - this needs a Major Barfitorium Alert.

Case in point: His brain is big, his style fresh, . . . Yet, it all does hang on him. Yes, him. Obama. The man. The superstar, (reaching for the barf bag here) and not that supporting cast of retreads from a failed past that have popped up in his administration in the making. . . . we've got to hope that it's Obama who is using them, and not the other way around

Hello? This "big brained", "fresh styled", "The Man" is so cool that he brings in tiny brained stale retreads from one of the sleazier administrations this country has had. I knew Obama's sychopants were screwed up, but this guy is supremely qualified for the job of "The Royal Anus Wiper" - a position offered by the Zulu kings of olden times.

Then again, he just might be starting to wonder if he's been sold a bill of goods and is trying to paste the scales back on his eyes.

Doubt that McLame considered that as one of the reasons he wasn’t elected...he’s that clueless. He and Goober Grahamnesty are resurecting their SHAMNESTY plan for THAT ONE to sign into law, even though it’s been stopped by citizens 3 times already, and continues to work for the DUmocrats by pandering to their newest constituents (illegals).

Bill Clinton and Pelosi all pandered to the left then moved to the center, BO will do the same, bring in some liberal policies, otherwise a mediocre four years, when the GOP will take over again and correct it all. Yawn.

Funny thing is the code pinkos actually believed him.

If we know one thing about McScum, it’s that he’s stubborn and never quits on legislation he wants.

Now that the Senate has even more allies than before, it should be an easier road.

And to hell with Grahamnesty, and shame on South Carolinian’s for nominating that POS again.

Yeah, right. Go tell India and the next dozen countries that get hit by Islamic fundamentalists that they should be happy that "W" is no president. Then give them B. Hussein's phone number and a quarter.

“but imagine how panicked we would now be if John McCain and Sarah Palin were about to take a turn at the wheel.”

Through the looking glass indeed.

Panic is knowing 0bama will be at the helm during not only very dangerous times, but the worst economic crisis of most of our lifetimes.

NOT confidence inspiring!

Palin/?????? ‘12!
