FLINT, Michigan -- With 10 kids and no vehicle, Latrica Ryan is used to juggling.
Going to a movie or out for dinner is a like plotting a major tactical undertaking. Not that such outings happen that much.
"It would really be nice if I could take my kids where they needed to go, instead of having to find them a ride," Ryan said. "And when we do go somewhere, I have to pay four or five people (for gas) to get us all there.
"I have booster seats and car seats. It's a lot."
Ryan, is a 29-year-old single stay-at-home mother of five sons and five daughters, who range in age from 2 months to 13 years.

BeBe’s Kids!!!
That’s my understanding, as well. Mom home-schools. It’s clear they love each and every one of their own kids. They know how to do things right, IMHO.
Wow, a liberal couldn’t have written a better post - taking one concept out of the Bible, out of context, and then deriding Christians for not supporting it.
Here’s some context to “be fruitful and multiply”:
Cross references:
She may not be able to find rides for her kids, but she has certainly been having no problem finding ride after ride for herself.
I’m more interested to know how she arranges liaisons with her future babies’ daddies.

um, Being fruitful and multiplying was in the context of a family - father and mother..... husband and wife..... that whole leave and cleave concept. The uncontrolled breeding in total disregard for the future basic welfare of the family is hardly a responsible way to live one’s life. Humans are made in the image of God and are not animals; therefore, they shouldn’t behave like animals when it comes to reproduction.
last time I checked be fruitful and multiply applied if you could support the children and had a husband who could help provide for them. This thing isn’t even human it just leeches off tax dollars while it shoves more degenerates into the school system.
Who are the oat givers? And why all the children when there is NO money to raise them?
Why not? There really isn't any negative consequence to having kids out of wedlock - you're paying for them, not her, nor the "daddies".
Most libs would say that an occurrence like this was unfortunate, but their intent was to help those who don't abuse the system. I say that their intent was EXACTLY this - to make more people dependent on the system.
Liberal policy has made that passenger van unaffordable.
The only people liberals want having large families are people like this - people who will be dependent on them.
Just a minute here. This woman’s problems seem to be twofold. First is that she is black, and second, that she lives in Flint.
If she was white and Mormon, and lived in Utah, would any of this be an issue? (Omit the detail about multiple biological fathers). Women can be single parents because their husbands die, as well.
I’m not really saying that she should be excused for her lack of morality, but that we should be clear about what, exactly, is the problem here.
Liberals are in the rather loathsome habit of using stories like this to justify abortion, with barely concealed racism and disdain for parenthood as well as despising other people as a whole. Let’s not just accept their axioms without really examining the situation. That happens far too much and often ends up with liberals getting their way in changes to public policy.
While we object to her behavior, remember that she is personally to blame, not her children, who didn’t have any say in their creation. So while we might like to see her, personally, punished or restricted in some way, it is more important that her children be provided at least the opportunity to not make the same mistakes.
This brings us to the subject of Flint, Michigan. This place actually contributes to her problems by supporting her lifestyle and bad habits. It is an impoverished place, and will likely inflict the same environment on her children that led to her proclivity in the first place.
So perhaps the best “welfare reform” that could be given for her and her family, would be to move them from Flint to a more supportive and wholesome area. There are vast areas of the US that do not have Flint’s problems and decay, and the vast majority would do much to redirect her children to a better way of life.
A life that doesn’t involve abortion, because it doesn’t have to.
Ill donate a quarter to the cause. But only if she promises to hold it between her knees until her ovaries dry up.
Aunt Bunny!
I met her cousin - the cousin said that each child is by a different father....
Wow.
Incredible.
Wonder how many of them voted in the last election.
Buy her a darn bus then.
about 20 years ago, I worked in a factory in Chicago which employed a lot of blacks.
one day at break, a bunch of girls were excitedly congratulating one of the girls for getting pregnant.
knowing that she was single and living with her mother, I wondered aloud how she could be so happy about it ( I am MEAN)
the mom to be said :” 500 bucks a month” as she high fived
her friend
I always thought he was hilarious.
I just went to the website. The comments are hysterical. My two favorites: she needs encouragement to go to college and
“Maybe now that Obama will be our president, it might be what will help this woman and her children!!”
Obama can’t even help is homeless step-brother and he’s going to help this woman!
